This affiliated college of the Central Council for Indian Medicine offers 12 different courses with 3 degree programs in several specializations of this medicine and is located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The sprawling institute stretches across 25 acres. This college provides both undergraduate and postgraduate education in an integrated manner. It has a faculty strength of 43, the institute having been a distinguished center of traditional Indian system education in northern India, particularly in the studies of Ayurveda.

Rishikul state ayurvedic college, Haridwar is popularly known as Rishikul Ayurvedic College. It was established in 1919 by Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ji, a renowned personality of India. The college was previously a part of the registered society ' Rishikul Brahmacharya Ashram Haridwar' which was established in 1906. This was the first government college of Uttarakhand state which has a huge infrastructure in 25 acres, it is 1KM away from railway station on the bank of holy river ganga.
