Dear candidate, the University of Delhi (DU) will likely begin the admission process for the undergraduate (UG) programmes from July 15. Unlike previous years, the admission process is expected to be of a changed pattern. The university might conduct Central Universities Common Entrance Test to admit students to the UG programmes. No decision is taken by DU on how they will admit students this time till now. According to the old system, admission in BA Hons Psychology will be merit based if no new decision is taken this time.
Hope, it helps!

First of all you're still in school, so there is long time to go for appearing in UPSC Civil Service Exam, you need to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or you can apply even in the final year but you need to attain 21 years age, now coming to your question the syllabus of UPSC is more humanities oriented there is no denial and yes pursuing simply BA or even BA degree in political science/public administration/history/geography/economics/law etc can be highly beneficial as these form core part of general studies and optional papers too come under these subjects, now whether to pursue this graduation degree or not is dependent on your choice, if you have any other professional choices such as engineering. or anything that comes within your domain(science stream), you can also go ahead with this choice especially if you want to explore other job profiles, you can check out the list of UPSC toppers, they come from diverse background such as engineering, medical, commerce etc , so you shouldn't think if you have different aspirations then you cannot qualify UPSC, yes those who have humanities background are already acquainted with the syllabus in the sense a science or commerce students don't study these subject at 10+2 or graduation level, so I would say think clearly what is that you want , if it's only UPSC then go for BA Degree, if you're not sure at this moment fully then follow your aspirations, at later point if you still feel like appearing for UPSC, you can do that, eventually the focus, dedication and perseverance remain the same for every aspirant.
