is there any entrance test to join Baroda manipal school of banking in Bangalore ?¿

Niranjana 28th Jun, 2021

Hello,

The Bank of Baroda and the Manipal Group have partnered to form the Baroda Manipal School of Banking. Most banking entrance examinations require a candidate to pass a written exam, an interview, and finally acceptance as a Probationary Officer.

Candidates are initially chosen through a competitive test, which begins with an online exam and is followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The chosen candidates are subsequently enrolled in a 9-month programme (Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance) that teaches them about the banking industry and its day-to-day operations. This course costs 3.45 lakhs to complete 3 months.

Candidates who finish the course successfully are promoted to Probationary Officers.

The important eligibility criterias are:

  • A applicant must be a graduate of a recognised university in any subject, with a minimum of 60% (in the General Category) and 55% (in the SC/ST Category).
  • At the time of application, the applicant must be at least 20 years old. The age restriction is set at 28 years old. That is the maximum age restriction for eligibility.

There are, however, exceptions to the age limit for SC/ST and OBC Candidates .
