BCI
Hello,
In 2013 one year LLM programme may be introduced from the Academic Year, 2013-14 in all universities established or incorporated in accordance with provisions of the UGC Act, 1956 and all institutions by or affiliated to such universities but in January 2021 it is scrapped as any master degree must have atleast a long time duration to understand the course well.if it is implemented BCI will conduct a Post Graduate Common Entrance Test in Law (PGCETL) for admission instead of clat.
further, Candidates who pursue 1 year llm course from foreign country with llb they are eligible for visiting professor in india.
You have to pursue two years llm valid course because the BCI has rights to lay down standards for legal educational programmes in India.year 2022 llm admission is challenged in supreme court by NLU's wait for verdict.
hope it helps!!!

Greetings,
You can get the license of Bar Council of any state or Union Territory after giving and clearing the bar council examination. It doesn't matter if you do you LLB from a private college or government college you just need to be a law graduate before enrolling yourself as an advocate.
Generally, the eligibility criteria to pursue three years LLB is passed bachelor's degree in any discipline securing 45%-50% depending upon the norms of the university, admission process varies among colleges it can be based on the merit of the qualifying examination or it can be done through entrance test. The private law colleges in Tamil Nadu offering LLB are as follows-
Hi,
Well your degree is considered valid since the time you registered yourself in that college. Which means if you started your program in 2010 then even if the college lost its validity after 2014, yours will be valid and acceptance cause you took before that. But all the students who took admission after 2014 won't have a valid degree recognised by bar council of India.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
