Biology
Hi,
The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Bsc Nursing varies from institute to institute. The most basic requirements are
1. Students should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
2. English is a mandatory subject in Class 12.
But some of the institutes require only pass marks in Biology. Since you do not have chemistry subjects in your class 12, You need to search for the best BSc nursing colleges in your city and analyze the eligibility criteria for appearing for the entrance exam if it is favorable you can pursue the course.
Good luck.

Yes Absolutely !! you are eligible. In order to secure a seat at a engineering college in Tamil Nadu, you need to clear TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) exam. The eligibility to sit for the exam is 40% aggregate marks in 12th class in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the reserved category students . Since you have scored over the required percentage you are eligible for taking up engineering.
The cut off marks for TNEA will be fixed by the Anna University to shortlist the candidates for further rounds of the admission process. You need to secure the minimum qualifying marks decided by the university. Percentage of seats reserved for SC under TNEA :
Scheduled Caste - 15% , Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars) - 3%
Please check the following link which contains the cutoff of various colleges that falls under the gambit of TNEA.

Well, medical courses revolves around biology and it is the only subject which differentiates medical and non medical courses. However, there is one way, if you clear NEET exam so you can persue mbbs or any other medical course and to clear neet you need to prepare biology as it is the mandatory section to attempt.
Thank you
hello aspirant,
Engineering does not requires biology as a subject at any level of the career.
if there's an option for you to choose one among biology or tamil as a subject, and if you want to make a decision keeping your engineering career in mind, I would guide you to take tamil because that can help you maybe somewhere in engineering .
Biology won't help you anywhere in engineering.
