Hi,
You can appear for JEE Mains examination after passing class 12 examination from a recognised board. However, for admission into NITs, IITs, GIFTs, etc. Candidates must have to score 75% in aggregate in class examination or must be in top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. This rule was relaxed for the year 2020 seeing amid the COVID 19. You can check the complete information over here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria
Dear aspirant
Maharashtra board haven't realised the 20 percentile marks for 2020 as this year was relaxation given to jee mains candidate due to covid 19 pandemic. Maharashtra board may realise the 20% percentile marks for 2020 as the relaxation had been not given for 2021 session.
Top 20 percentile means that you'll have to be one of the top 20% students of your board.
Top 20 percentile of
2016 -79.5%
2017 -77.9%
2018 -77.6%
2019 -68.2%
so top 20% percentile will depend on various factors like topper marks this year, difficulty level of question paper, candidate appearance etc
hope this information helps you
all the best!!

Hi Candidate,
The Oswal Publication Physics NCERT Book is a very good book if you are preparing for your Board Examinations, as it has a variety of Questions and examples covering almost all aspects of BOARD Examinations.
If you have practised the book well and have revised it properly, you can score around 90% marks as the pattern of Questions asked in Boards are very much related to those given in Book.
Hope that this answer helps you.
Hello!
By practicing past 10 years papers you can score above 45 marks. It will almost cover the entire topics but to score that 25 marks you should study the book at least the glimpse of certain things. Even there are good chances to get more than that. Not just theory and derivation is not enough you should also practice the sums from the past 10 years.
ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
thank You
Hello Candidate,
The best tip that will work for you is :
Practice the previous 5 years paper of UP board exams thoroughly, because about 80% of the questions are from previous year papers.
Since there is very less time left now in board exams, I suggest that you practice 2 papers daily in a exam like environment. that is you will have to give 6 hours daily for writing exam. Purchase the answer books from nearby stationary shop and practice in them. In this way, you will already be acquainted with the mechanism of that day.
All The Best.
