No it is not necessary to give board exams again you will be eligible to give MHT CET as long as you have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have at least 50% marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination

You can take total three attempts for three consecutive years. Where the first attempt will be calculated . Even though you are appearing for board examinations that attempt will also be considered among the three attempts. Both January and April together will be considered as 1 attempt.
