I got 84.5 marks in nata and 89.4 marks in +2 board exams Do i have a chance to get into government colleges?

ritikaprasad.work 5th Sep, 2020

Hey!

84.5 marks in NATA is pretty decent and 89.4 percentage in boards is amazing. NATA scores provide admission to a lot of architecture colleges, government and private. Based on your score you do stand a chance of getting in a good government college but I'd recommend having a backup plan too as the cutoffs can be variable.

kritiesse 10th Oct, 2020

hello,

your percentage is amazing. DU just released its first cutoff and the percentages are as usual at an call time high. You can check the cutoffs at the official website. As for psychology honors in Aryabhata college, the first cutoff is 97%. It might go down later.

For admission in Nit,Candidate must secure 75%aggregate marks or (be in top 20%of their respective board exams)"What is the meaning that I put in bracket?Explain. Will jee considered for admission in NIT.?

S. Saha Student Expert 24th Aug, 2020
Along with qualifying Jee Main, there is another criteria for being eligible for Jee Advanced and that is the candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12. 5% relaxation in marks for Sc, St and pwd candidates.Or the candidates should be within top 20 percentile of their respective Class 12 boards. And top 20 percentile means that you are ahead of 80% of the people of your respective board. The subjects considered to calculate these marks are - PCM, a language with highest score, another subject other than these four where you have got highest marks. But this year it's different. As all the subjects of class 12 of several boards have not conducted and marks have been provided on the basis of internal assessment and previous exam marks, many students have been affected by these. So this year, the criteria of at least 75% marks in intermediate or being in top 20 percentile has been withdrawn and among all 2,50,000 candidates who have passed 12th examination will be eligible to sit for Jee Advanced 2020. The candidates who will meet the qualifying cutoff of Jee Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, the candidates just have to show their class 12 passing certificate. Even for admission to NITs and other centrally funded universities, this criteria will not be considered for admission. But it is only for this year. How to prepare for 10th Board exams CBSE for the coming year. Im preparing for neet so I dont want those centems, I just want to get around 460-480.

Apurva anand 19th Aug, 2020

Hello Ram, 10th board exam should be prepared by thoroughly practicing the textbooks, that's enough for 10th board exams because the amount of syllabus is very less and can be easily covered in couple days, although textbooks should be enough for preparation you can also prepare for subjects like Social studies from XAMidea books or any other supplementary, these books are very handy.
