I am PCB student but have appeared for jee mains, now can I give jee advance. I will pass mathematics in later shift of board exams.

AnkiT KunwaR 3rd Mar, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

No, this is not possible. As per eligiblity criteria of JEE you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th boards to be eligible for JEE Main and Advanced. You might appear in JEE Main and Advanced, but your rank will not be released even if you will qualify the examination and further you will.not be eligible for admission in NITs,IIITs,GFTI and later IITs.

I hope this helps.

Sunil Kumar singh 1st Mar, 2020

Hi dear,

Congratulations for a very good percentile in jee main 2020. For taking admission in NITs and IITs you have to score 75 percent or be in top 20 percentile. If you belong from state board then check top 20 percentile of your respective board. You must have to score 75 percent or under top 20 percentile in order to get admission in NITs or IITs.

Hope it helps.

I have not given my board exams due to coronavirus, can i still apply for JK Lakshmipat University?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Apr, 2020
Abhishek, if your Board exams have been postponed, you are not alone in it. Because almost all exams have been postponed. And Lakshimpat University conducts its admissions based on JEE Mains score. And as of now as per their official website  the admission process will continue until August. And so you have enough time to take JEE Mains April session, your boards and complete the admission process for this College. So you have nothing to be worried about. And if you do not plan on appearing for JEE Mains, then you should appearnfor JKLU EET. For more information on Admission process, please visit their official website at: https://www.jklu.edu.in/admission-procedure

can I get seat in aiims from good score in neet 2020 and exact 50%in my board exams ??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 6th Apr, 2020

Om, good score means nothing less than 650-675. This is because AIIMS cut off percentiles have been nothing less than 93 percentile even for Reserved Categories. And cut offs do change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.

That set aside, AIIMS requires a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English. It is 60% for General Category and 50% for Reserved Categories. This has been the norm when AIIMS was conducting its own entrance exam. Now that AIIMS will conduct its admission through NEET score, there might be 2 ways about it. Either AIIMS will follow its conventional 60-50% or AIIMS will follow NEET aggregate criteria. We need to wait to hear from AIIMS.

To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion.

Hey , i am student from thane doing 11th commerce from a CBSE board , but i want to change my stream to science and repeat grade 11 in Fergusson college. I got 79% in my CBSE board exams 2018-19 batch . How do i apply for admission ?

Nikki Nair 23rd Feb, 2020

Hello Aspirant

If you want to change from commerce to science branch the first thing you need to do is get in touch with your Principal and administration center and write them a letter regarding this .

If you are keen on changing try to change your stream before the enrollment of 12th ends.

If your Principal approves the change of stream, you can surely do it.Keep all the documents ready that might be needed.

I hope this helps

Thanks

if I get aggregate 50% (pcb)in my board exams then with a good score in neet 2020 can I get seat in AIIMS new Delhi ??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Apr, 2020
Hello there

From this year admission in all the AIIMS is through neet examination , so to get admission in AIIMS you need to first be eligible for neet ,and to be eligible for neet one should have at least an aggregate of 50% in PCB and now that your aggregate in PCB in your class 12th examination is 50% , so yes you are eligible for neet and thus if you managed to score good marks then you can definitely get into AIIMS for your MBBS.

You can follow below tips to prepare well for your neet examination :-

  • Practice questions after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs and keep revising your concepts whenever you feel like you are for getting some concepts .

  • Make routine or timetable :- you can make a routine as well and try to give at least 8 hours or more to study , your routine should revolve around things i.e study, revise and practice . You should religiously follow your routine

  • You should practise numericals and mcqs , go through past 39 year chapterwise papers of neet aipmt book for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology by arihant and once you are done with the complete neet syllabus go through mock test papers

Thankyou

I gonna attend upcoming JEE exam in April .. I have enough time to prepare for board exams ... how can and how should I spend time for JEE preparations ?

Srishti jha 22nd Feb, 2020

Hello aspirant, I hope you have a good time.

First of all , focus on your boards because if it is gone youyou ca be getting any college. Keep on practising and revise the syllabus throughout.

After giving boards exam , make sure to complete 10 years of JEE mains questions paper to gain confidence and idea about how will the questions likely to be. Revise the 11th topics in which you are perfect because you can get marks from your best topics. Don't waste time on irrelevant topics which makes you frustrating or in which you have least knowledge.
