Generally in state board exams there is no any system of cut-off. Cut-off is only for entrance examinations. In state board exams percentage of students are declared in their score card. Cut-off of various examinations depends upon various factors like :-

if you satisfy all the eligibility criteria of TNEA then only you can appear the exam. minimum required percentage is 45% for general category. if your exam is late then you will get your result late.

There isn't any entrance exam, the admission is given based on merit in 10+2.The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board or university.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with 50% aggregate candidates belonging to OBC including muslims must have passed with atleast 45% and candidates belonging to SC/ST/SCA/MBC& DNC must have passed with 40% aggregate.
You are eligible to apply for TNEA 2020 if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria and you must obtain your results before the commencement of counselling.
To be eligible to appear in BITSAT a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry along with proficiency in English.Candidate must have passed with 75% aggregate and must have 60% aggregate in each subject individually.Candidates who opted for biology must have 75% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.Candidates must have passed 10+2 in 2019 or 2020.
So, you are eligible to appear but you must also have minimum percentage in qualifying exam.
You must get passed in your physics , chemistry , biology/ biotechnology and english individually.
Yes, you need to get 50% in chemistry, physics and biology/ biotechnology in your 12th class.
