can jee mains can be cracked by. ncert Book

Purbayan Chatterjee 7th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant,

I will be very frank with your doubt and in simple words the answer is NO.

Now, lets dig deep into the reasons "why not".

To be honest, all questions in JEE Mains come from NCERT and if you are very thorough with your NCERT books i.e. the syllabus prescribed, you are good to go.

Having said that, it is also true that NCERT books provide you with very basic knowledge of the curriculum and to crack something like Mains, you need to practise some intermediate level questions.

Also Mains being a competitive exam, if most of your competitors have practiced high-level (difficult) questions, and you have not, automatically you will be on the backseat to start with.

Find below this exhaustive article where list of Best books for JEE Mains has been carefully curated.

Is cenage for jee mains book enough to get 70-80% in maths for jee mains (cenage for jee mains book not cenage for jee advance)

Shja 7th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

It's a pretty good book and yes may be you can score 70-80% in JEE Mains. But remember if that happens, it wouldn't happen because of that particular book. It will happen only when your concepts are clear and you have been a serious student throughout the year. Solve the book, but don't stop after that. Nothing is enough in a competitive exam. Solve previous year question papers, solve mocks, solve HC Verma, do whatever you can to score high. Never restrict yourself.

Hope this Helps!

santra neet practice is a good book for neet??

Subhrajit Mukherjee 6th Aug, 2021

Santra Publication books are mainly used by the students of West Bengal so this books don't have that much of a fame compared to other books for NEET. But this book is quite good as a practice material. So you can obviously follow that but I would say for Biology you should use some standard books also like MTG/Arihant practice questions etc. This books have more information regarding the biology and the books provides a lot of varying MCQ. But santra is good and you can practice it well.

Dear Student,

First of all, as you a beginner, I would like to tell you that history is definitely a good optional subject, if you have a lot interest in it as it would also be helpful to you in your other papers as well.

Do check the syllabus of UPSC in hindi and then go for the specific topics from the below mentioned books. Also, you need a good depth of knowledge for writing the optional paper answers.

It is very important to make sure that the candidates opt for the good history books for IAS in Hindi, as well as effective notes and other study materials to equip themselves sufficiently for the preparation to take this exam and clear it successfully.

The following books can prove to be a great and reliable source to prepare for the exams and make IAS history notes in Hindi. Both, ancient Indian history notes in Hindi and modern history notes in Hindi can be made from these:

i need to know what is very useful book for self preparation. because i am too confusing about books and portions . i need some advice who had already passed nimcet . i am studying trigonometry but there is no questions from the previous question paper . that is giving me fear of studying

Niranjana 4th Aug, 2021

Hello,

I am attaching some of the advices by the people who have cracked the exam.

First and foremost, you must strengthen your math fundamentals. You may use YouTube to aid you with this. You may look for topic-specific mathematical lectures . Then, once you've mastered the fundamentals of math, try your hand at some problems related to the themes.Recommended books are

  • RD sharma for Mathematics
  • R.S.Agarwal for Reasoning.
  • Arihant Complete study package for MCA

Then you may answer past years' JEE Main chapterwise solutions, which you can do by purchasing any book. After you've finished these books, you can use past years' NIMCET problems as a practise test by solving them in exam conditions. Then evaluate your strong and weak aspects and proceed with your preparation appropriately.

Hope it helped you
