Dear student,
Unfortunately it is very unlikely to get a B. Pharmacy seat with a vocational MLT background and bridge course, even after appearing for EAMCET. Though you may have taken the EAMCET exam, the Pharmacy Council of India or PCI does not recognize vocational courses and bridge courses as equivalent to the required 10+2 standard study with science stream for pharmacy admission. The PCI have specifically made a statement the they do not approve vocational courses or bridge courses for pharmacy admission. It is better if you check the official website of the relevant university or APSCHE for accurate details about the required qualifications.

Hello
It’s completely okay to feel stuck after completing your degree many go through this phase. Take a moment to reflect on what you truly enjoy or are curious about plants, research, teaching, or something new. You can explore options like MSc, competitive exams, teaching, lab work, or even switch to a different field like environmental science or biotech. Try internships, online courses, or volunteering to gain clarity and confidence. Talk to mentors, career counselors, or peers — their guidance can open new paths. Remember, it’s never too late to begin again with a fresh mindset and steady steps.
Yes, you still have some hope to get admission in M.Sc. Botany in Delhi University under the SC category with your CUET PG score of 109 in Botany and 130 in Biotechnology.
Here's why:
DU gives reservations to SC candidates, and the cutoff scores for SC category are generally lower than General or OBC. While your score of 109 in Botany is on the lower side, DU takes admission through multiple rounds, and sometimes vacant seats are filled in later lists.
Also, some DU colleges under the Botany department may have slightly lower closing scores for SC students, especially in 2nd or 3rd admission rounds.
Biotechnology score of 130 is also decent and could help if you apply in interdisciplinary courses or other related programs if available.
Final suggestion: Keep checking DU's PG admission portal regularly and make sure your preferences are filled carefully. Wait for all rounds.
With CUET PG scores of 109 in Botany and 130 in Biotechnology, and being in the SC category, your prospects for gaining admission into M.Sc. are promising. Opportunities in Botany or Biotechnology at Delhi University are, regrettably, quite limited. Generally, DU’s cutoff for SC students in these disciplines ranges from around 170–210 for Botany and 160–200 for Biotechnology. Your present scores are considerably lower than these benchmarks. Nevertheless, it’s not the conclusion of the journey.
You might still think about applying to various central or state universities where the cutoffs tend to be less stringent. For example, Mahatma Gandhi Central University establishes its SC cutoff for Botany at approximately 58–62 marks and for Biotechnology at roughly 48–52 marks. Smaller and more recent institutions, along with DU associated colleges, occasionally set lower criteria in subsequent counselling rounds or for less sought-after specializations. In summary, although DU might not be attainable with your present scores, there are still worthwhile and significant options available.
Hope this helps. All the best!
