Is a student with a Bachelors degree in Botany eligible for MS-PhD Biotechnology programme in IISc Bangalore even if he/she does not have mathematics in class 12?

Abhishek Roy 6th Jan, 2021

Yes you are, perhaps you need to qualify JAM or GATE Exam in Biotechnology followed by Interview for admission in MS-PhD Programme in Biotechnology of IISc Bangalore.

As far as your 12th is concerned, there is no such criteria of having Mathematics, but you must have a First Class degree in either of Physics/ Chemistry/ Biological Sciences during Undergraduate Study.

Fergusson College, Maharashtra

Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala

Some colleges would be either be at the end or middle of the admission / selection process due to the disturbance in the academic calendar because of the current situation . Hence , you may visit the official website of the college you wish to apply in and know more about the status of admission process. Also keep an eye on the dates of the above mentioned entrances for the 2021 session.

I have a doubt If I got a seat in Sri venkateswara arts and degree college b.sc bzc and can I translate my course to b.sc biotechnology, botany and computer applications (BBC) is it possible

iammohdshareef 29th Dec, 2020

Once you get admission in particular college via counseling then there will be a limited period to change your course or language. So you need to make changes in that particular time . Mostly time will be inbetween 20 to 30 days. Once the time is passed then it's impossible to make changes in any of the way. So do ask the College about the information for Making the changes.
