Hope to have helped you.
Wish you all the best!!
Hello,
Last year the cut off for admission to B.Sc Economics (Hons) in ST. Xavier's College, Kolkata was 171 marks for candidates who have passed class 12th from CBSE board with Science Stream and 172 marks for candidates who have passed class 12th The formula from CBSE board with Commerce and Arts Stream. The formula to calculate the merit for B.Sc Economics is 75% of Marks scored in (Mathematics+overall aggregate)+ 25% of Marks scored in Mathematics. Total is out of 175 marks. You haven't mentioned your stream, marks scored in Mathematics and over aggregate marks. Please use the above mentioned formula to calculate the marks. If your score is above 171 or 172 marks depending on your stream then you have good chances of getting admission. This year the cut off may vary depending on total number of candidates applied for admission, highest marks scored, total number of seats available.
Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard Exam or intermediate exam to appear for the SSC CHSL Exam from a recognized Board or University. The following table provides you the details of all the educational requirements.
I guess you have to take best of four to qualify in ssc chsl
Hope this helps.

Yes, you can take a year off and prepare for JEE Main and JEE Advanced after passing in class 12th as a private candidate. You can appear for JEE Main or three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2 and you can appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination. If you pass in class 12th in the year 2022 you can apply for JEE Main 2022, JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2024. And you can apply for JEE Advanced 2022 and JEE Advanced 2023 provided you must have qualified in JEE Main 2022 and JEE Main 2023 respectively. As you wish to take a year off you will be eligible to apply for JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2024 only and if you qualify in JEE Main 2023 you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. See maximum number of attempts allowed for JEE-Main to any candidate is 12 (4 session consecutively for 3 years i.e. 4*3=12) and these 12 attempts get started from the very first appearance of candidate for class 12th examination from any of the recognized board.
So for e.g., if you passed class 12th in 2021 then you were eligible for all 4 attempts of JEE-Main 2021 and now you are eligible for 4 attempts of JEE-Main 2022 and 2023. So if you go for any improvement from CBSE board then you can appear for JEE-Main only till 2023 not after that.
JEE-Main eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

Hey!
You will receive passing certificate of standard 10 of CBSE board only if you had given the 10th exam through CBSE Board. You will receive it from the school you had passed your 10th from, so you can collect it from there. About your 12th board, since you have given UP State board, you would receive a certificate of that board only.
