i need bio maths group in my 11th standard. how much mark should i get in cbse board of class 10th to have bio-maths group.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Mar, 2022

Hi

It's completely depends upon the cbse school you want to get admission in dear.

But yes,

To get admission in good schools, you should get at least 90+% to get PCMB i. e science with both maths & biology.

For example,

I have studied science  with both maths and Biology i. e PCMB in my    10 + 2 from cbse and  to get admission I had scored 9.8 CGPA in my class 10th which is equivalent to 93.1 % and I easily got admission in one of the Kendriya Vidyalayas which are  government chain of CBSE schools present pan India.

But yes,

In average schools, you can even get PCMB with around 80 % marks .

Also,

One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.

So,

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your 10th board examination so that.you can get pcmb:-

  • Go well through the chapters

  • Make short notes so that you can revise them easily during your exam

  • Go through previous year question paper of your board examination

  • Solve at least 2-3 sample paper for each subject

Thankyou

Hi, I have passed my class 12 from cbse board in science stream scoring Maths 93 physics 91 english 90 computer 94 chemistry 83 and i belong from general category. what are my chances of getting into st Xaviers college Kolkata for bsc economics in 2022 seasion according to previous years cutoffs?

Sree Student Expert 6th Mar, 2022

Dear student,

It is difficult to determine, as cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors like number of seats available, previous year's cut-offs, number of students taking admission, etc.

***Based on previous year's cut-offs a safe percentage of 92+ to get B.A Economics course in St. Xavier's College, Mumbai for General Category candidates. This year cut-off may increase or decrease or remain same.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board or College.

I passed my class 12th last year from CBSE BOARD and Im from UP. I live in Tamil Nadu right now and I want to give my exam in Tamil Nadu state. In Jee Main registration form what I will fill in 12th passing/appearing state??And how can I get Tamil.Nadu state in prefernce??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Mar, 2022

Hello,

You can appear for JEE Main 2022 April Session in Tamil Nadu even though you have passed class 12th in Uttar Pradesh. While filling the application form you have to select four preferences for examination centers. You need to select the state and then the city that are enlisted in the drop box. So you can select Tamil Nadu state in the drop box and then select the city in the order of preference. And in the field of 12th or equivalent passing or appearing state you need to select Uttar Pradesh only. There will be no issue if your examination center state and class 12th passing state is different. JEE Main Exam Centres for Paper 1 are available in 567 cities in India and test cities available for B.Arch paper are 345 and for B.Plan 327 cities. JEE Main outside India is conducted in 13 cities. I passed my class 12th from CBSE board in the year 2020 but failed to clear JEE Mains. So I prepared my 11th strongly in 2021 but did not fill the form of JEE and then in this academic year I will give the board exam of class 12 from NIOS. Will I be eligible for JEE ADVANCED/BITSAT ??

Sree Student Expert 27th Feb, 2022

Hello aspirant,

You will be eligible for JEE Mains in 3 consecutive years from the year you finish your 12 th standard including that year i.e you are eligible for JEE Mains in 2020, 2021 and 2022. JEE Advanced can be attempted twice in consecutive years.

After qualifying JEE Mains only then you can appear in JEE Advanced entrance exam.

Hi, I have passed my class 12 in science stream from cbse board in 2021.My marks are maths 93/100 physics 91/100 english 90/100 cs 94/100 Chemistry 83/100. What are my chances of getting into st Xaviers college Kolkata for bsc economics in 2022?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 20th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant!!!

Warm wishes for the marks that you secured in your 10+2 which would reflect a good academics of yours. But when it comes to your admission into B.Sc Economics Course, St. Xavier's College publish merit list which shows after the declaration of first merit list and final merit list, you will get an overview that you need to score around 90-95% to enable a seat for admission.

Based on your Maths Score which is good you have chances of getting B.Sc Economics but West Bengal Board students with this same marks will be ranked before you in the merit list. So yes competition would be there but you have fair chances of admission too.

Good luck!!!
