I am Mayank i am student of bsc 1 year mathematics but i dont take chemistry but take a optional subject computer so i ask that its write for future is there is problem in future with fill the application of government of job

Sumedha Bhattacharya 11th Feb, 2022

Dear Student ,

No, it will no create any severe problem regarding any Govt job not related to chemistry..

Generally , Graduation based Govt job in non-tech/clerical field like SSC-CGL, NTPC or  other exam doesn't care about the subjects you have taken in graduation but only accepts your graduation degree.

On the other hand, as you have said that you have taken Comp sc as an optional subject , so it may help you to do any types of work related to computer as now a days mathematics also required some computer skills as an advanced level.

You can also pursue higher studies in Mathematics and become a lecturer of mathematics or can be a Mathematician.

Hope this helps !

Is Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is important to study for the MH CET exam?

ayanmukherjee045 23rd Mar, 2022

Dear aspirant,

As per the mhcet pattern mathematics physics and chemistry is absolutely very important. There are two section in mhcet paper one is of physics and chemistry and the other is mathematics. Both section contains 100 marks each. It is a computer based examination and will be used for the admission to b.tech programmes.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I have appeared and passed 12th from Assam Board (but i am failed in chemistry but passed overall) in 2021. So can i appear for 12th again from different state board in 2022 and pass in all subjects ? is this legally possibly to do so ?

rjain249403 11th Feb, 2022

Hi Nilabh, it's actually neither legal nor illegal to clear exams from a single board in one year and the other in the next. However, since every boards have a different perspective and pattern of imparting education. It's advisable to stick to a board that make you comfortable with. Also, if you've failed in one subject and cleared all the rest, you could have a chance to re-appear in the compartment of that subject too.

If you wish to attempt the subject in other board due to some genuine reasons and further, you could always seek support from your school staff and principal accordingly.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Wish you a lots of success ahead!!

I am going to appear for 12th and NEET this year as if I got 70 in biology, 68 in English and just 40 in physics and chemistry not including practicals... so than I will call pass in my 12th..?

Sweta jha 12th Feb, 2022

Hi there,

Passing marks for cbse 12th class board examination is 33%. As total marks for theory exam for term 1 exam is 40 then students should get 13 marks to get pass in examination. But students should try to get more than 20 marks to get better aggregate.

In case students must score 33% in theory and practical to be pass in each subject.

Furthermore, students need to score 33% separately in practical and theory.

If you score 33% separately in practical and theory then you will be pass in 12th.

Hope it helps you

Good luck!

Anurag Khanna 10th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

No you will not be eligible for NEET UG because there should be Physics and Chemistry in your curriculum of class 12 and suppose if Biology is additional or main then it would work but Physics and Chemistry should be there so if not then you are not eligible for NEET UG.

For your reference NEET UG eligibility criteria is given below :-

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
