Hello Praveen, You can go for both JOB + Gate classes... and that you can do by joining the weekend GATE classes (That is Saturday and Sunday), by this you can continue with your JOB + you will be getting preparation time (after JOB) for GATE too + you will be attending regular classes...

Civil engineering has a good scope in coming years. There is huge demand in India for civil engineers. In India, a fresher civil engineer can expect between Rs. 30,000 to Rs.40,000 per month depending on rank and seniority. After gaining experience, a civil engineer may receive a promotion to supervisor and can can earn Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 90,000 a month. Someone with 15-20 years’ experience can rake in upwards of Rs. 1 lakh a month.
