this is a very common question. the answer is simple, NO YOU DO NOT NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN CODING FOR CSE BRANCH STUDIES. many students from PCMB background end up taking CSE branch in engineering colleges and learn pretty quickly, HOWEVER, IT DOES HELP!

The Placement criteria mostly depends on company. Many Technology Companies may set criteria that students from CSE and IT can only apply for them while many also have no such pre requisite. Companies like Microsoft, Google , Facebook have no such criteria. Any student can apply for their placement
