Delhi University Joint Admission Test
Hello Aspirant,
DU Jat exam consists of four sections: General and Business Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability that carry 25 questions each. Each question carries 4 marks with a penalty of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
To start of with your preparation i'll recommend you to solve atleast one previous year paper, so that you get an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the exam. This will also help you in identifying your weak and strong areas. List down the syllabus and start preparing topic wise. Study each section daily. And give as many mocks as possible. A proper time management and thorough knowledge of the syllabus will definitely help you to secure a seat in the college of your choice.

DU JAT ( Delhi University joint admission test) is conducted by the University of Delhi for the aspirants seeking admission in various undergraduate programs like BMS, BBA, etc. The exam is conducted in online mode in the month of June-July every year. The paper consists of 100 questions and the duration of the exam is 2 hours.
The examination consists of 4 sections namely -
1. Quantitative ability
2. General English
3. Business and general awareness
4. Reasoning and analytical ability.
Each section consists of 25 questions each. The total paper is of 400 marks. For every correct answer , the candidates will be given 4 marks. For every incorrect response , candidates lose 1 mark. The examination is conducted once in every year and is conducted only in english language.
The paper is objective type i.e MCQ based questions. Each question carries equal weightage.
No marks is deducted for un-attempted questions.
If a single question is marked twice , it would be considered as a wrong answer.

Since Delhi University does not release marks for cutoff for DUJAT hence only way the admissions are done is via rank. You have to try to score as much as possible.
The results would be declated by 25th June,till then you can watch this page for more information.

No ECA's score is not combined with the score in the exam. Only the entrance exam score and the score in the qualifying examinations ( 12th board or any other equivalent examination) is included.

As per the additional eligibilty criteria and basis of selection , Aggregate of 60% or more marks in qualify ing examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two subjects included in list B.
Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance exam and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are: Entrance exam -65% and the Qualifying examination-35% .Hence Maths is compulsory so you cannot apply.

Here are the eligibility criteria for B.Com (//B.Com) hons. in DU which species that:
An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The applicant must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics at the qualifying examination for admission to B. Com. (Hons.).
Therefore for B.com Hons. Mathematics is required but for B.com the eligibility criteria is:
An aggregate of 40% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce. I
Which does not specify Mathematics to be necessary therefore you can do B.com In DU without Mathematics.

Yes, one can appear for DuJAT again irrespective of what they were pursuing or if they had dropped a year for the preparation.

Since the result of DU JAT depends on the performance of candidates appearing in the entrance test so it varies every year and it is not possible to say the exact percentage of 100th rank holder.
The comparison of marks and alloting of ranks are normalized on the basis of Equipercentile Equation procedure and merit ranking is done on the basis of normalized marks.
