Calculation of SPI and CPI:
Suppose in a given semester a student has taken four courses having credits C1, C2, C3 and C4 and
grade points in those courses are G1, G2, G3 and G4 respectively. Then,
SPI = (C1 x G1 + C2 x G2 + C3 x G3 + C4 x G4) / (C1 + C2 + C3 + C4)
CPI = (SPI1 x Credits in semester1 + SPI2 x Credits in semester2 + ...) / (Total credits)
For example, if in a given semester a student has taken four courses having credits 6, 6, 6, and 8
and grade points in those courses are 10, 9, 8, 6 respectively. Then,
SPI = (6 x 10 + 6 x 9 + 6 x 8 + 6 x 6) / (6 + 6 + 6 + 8) = 7.62

Advantages

• You can guess what type of question can appears in Exams.
• You can read evaluates mind because correction of your answer paper are evaluated in college campus.
• You can score more marks if you are good relationship with lectures.
• You academic will be more practical oriented compair to non- Autonomous college.
• You can plan hole semester before starting your academic semester because Autonomous college has to plan 1 year hole academic year & display in notice board it's rule in Autonomous college.

Dis-advantage.

• Lecture has the power to control you & your behaviour.
• Lecture will start behaving like father to son relationship.
• Plenty numbers of seminar & Assignments.
• Stick rules compair to Non-Autonomous colleges.
• You need to attend extra classes if your lecture is Circuit.

Normal colleges

Advantages:

• Free Brid Entire Academic year.
• No need worry about Attendance.
• You can enter college according to your interest there is no fix like 9 AM to 4 PM.
• You can pass Exams if you have less marks in internal.
• If you break college rules & also caught you will get less punishment compair to Autonomous college's.

Dis-Advantages

• Your can't guess question in exam papers because you question papers comes form any VTU under college.
• You not has any idea how much you can score in exam because it's depends on evaluate mind.
• Your percentage will be less compair to Autonomous college. (If you put Same efforts in Autonomous college your CGPA will higher.)
• You will not get one extra chance to pass to subjects because in Autonomous has the rule to conduct one more exams in there academic year that they call it has summer Exams.
• You can't plan your entire semester because it may change at any time.

Chose a college by 1st seeing the placements, then teachings and then infrastructure. Dosent matter if it's Autonomous or Normal.

Yes, Final year students of B.E./B.Tech. course of the notified engineering disciplines, 
are eligible to apply for ICRB 'SC' recruitment examination 
under the condition that 
- the final result of the qualifying exam should be available by the end of August month
and 
- they should secure at least 65% marks or equivalent in aggregate in B.Tech. 

If you qualify the recruitment process but do not satisfy the two above stated 
criteria then your candidature would be cancelled. 

A student in 4th year of Computer Science Engineering is eligible to apply and appear for GATE exam.
