Vijay Kumar 15th Aug, 2019

Hi raj

thanks for asking your query as per now bihar colleges have accomodation issues because most of the colleges doesn’t have hostel facilities in their campus, therefore students take pgs for staying .In your case too there could be no hostel facilities ,thats why look for accommodation for yourself.

Which is the best college for the branch EEE,srkr or shri vishnu engineering college for women

deepanshi_1560771933 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019

When it comes to placements the preferences are given to SKCT only after SKCET.

More over getting placed in core companies is quite a difficult task for Electrical branch students in both SKCT and SKCET. But if you’re really interested in EEE then you can go for it. Else a Big NO for you. Placement drives are open to both the campuses and students in both SKCT and SKCET can appear for the interview but still chances are 30:70 (30 - SKCT and 70 - SKCET).

SKCET implemented CBS(Choice Based System) and more vibrant campus for upcoming 2016–2020 batch. So, the chances are less for SKCT while having a close competition with SKCET. It’s completely about placements other than this I have no idea about EEE in SKCT. SKCET is liberal and SKCT is somewhat strict. But SKCT is one of the best in coimbatore where as SKCET ranks Top 10 in Tamil Nadu.

The choice is yours. Think twice before making the decision.

Which skills are required for 1st year engineering student?

akshaevelin27_9770651 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019
Hello aspirant,
In 1st year there will be a lot of courses consisting of many courses which are not even the core courses of your departmentdue to that u will be exposed to the aspects of almost every branch, so if your interest grows in some other stream you can think of changing branch after 1st year, so your skill development will depend on your interest. Generally, a skill that you can develop in 1st year is coding as it is useful irrespective of branch as everything is going digital. You will be most probably taught "c" or maybe some other progamming language & if you are interested then even if your branch is not CS you can learn another languages like c++ etc & can write programmes. If you are interested in some other branch but CPI is not sufficient for branch change then you can think of taking a minor in that department if available.Besides these things you should try to interact with your classmates, teachers & seniors etc.
Thank You!!!
