We're always trying to make the app better and easier for you to use. Your feedback is really important to us, and we want to know how we can make things better for you.

To help us understand what you need, could you tell us what parts of the app you'd like to see in Hindi? For example, are you thinking about the news articles, the college information, the exam details, or something else? Knowing which parts are most important to you will help us figure out how to make the app more helpful.

We understand that it can be frustrating when an app doesn't have the language you want. We are listening to you, and we are working on making improvements. If you are wanting to change the language that your phone uses, that is done in your phones settings menu, and is seperate from the Careers360 app.

Baki bilak subject ot 70 or uporot mark thakile Aru english exm tu bohut bea hoise soo gress mark diya hoy ne?!

SUKRITI GUPTA 3rd Apr, 2025

Greetings! Here's a response to your query

Basically, grace marks are like a little boost schools or boards give when you're just a few marks away from passing. They're meant to help you not fail a whole year because of one subject. But, they don't just hand them out for any reason.

Whether you get them or not depends on a bunch of stuff. First, the rules of your board or school. Each one has its own way of doing things. They decide how many marks they give and in what situations. Some are more chill about it, others are stricter.

Then, there's how badly you did in English. If you were super close to passing, you might get a few extra marks. But if you were way off, probably not. And yeah, doing well in other subjects can help a little. It shows you're not a total slacker, just had a bad day with English.

So, you need to ask your school or check your board's rules. They'll have the real answer. Don't just hope for grace marks, though. It's better to find out for sure.

Hii! I am Bio maths student. I will get 400 out of 600 marks in 12 public exam. I will get 70 marks in english exam. I need english literature. Can I study english literature? I

Tanya Gupta 30th Mar, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can pursue English Literature even if you are a Bio-Maths student. Most colleges offering B.A. in English Literature** consider your overall percentage and English marks** from your 12th public exam. Since you are scoring around 70 marks in English, you meet the basic eligibility in many institutions. Check the specific college criteria, as some reputed institutions may require a higher score in English or an entrance exam.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

My brother has failed in English with two other main subject. Is he eligible for compartment cause English is an additional subject?

Prachi Kumari 29th Mar, 2025

Hello,

If your brother has failed in English (as an additional subject) along with two main subjects , then he is not eligible for the compartment exam.

Compartment is allowed only if a student fails in one or two main subjects . Since he has failed in two main subjects, he would not qualify for the compartment exam. He may have to appear for a re-exam (improvement) or repeat the year , depending on the board's rules.

Hope it helps !

My brother has failed in English with two other main subject. Is he eligible for compartment cause English is an additional subject?

SUKRITI GUPTA 4th Apr, 2025

Greetings! Here's a detailed response to your query.

It's a tough situation when a student fails multiple subjects. Let's break down the compartment eligibility.

Generally, compartment exams are offered to students who fail in one or two main subjects. The purpose is to give them a chance to improve their results without having to repeat an entire academic year.

Now, the crucial point here is the distinction between "main" and "additional" subjects. English, even if considered an additional subject in your brother's case, can still be a core requirement for passing the overall examination, depending on the educational board's rules.

If the board mandates a passing grade in English to clear the overall exams, even if it's considered "additional", then failing it will count towards the total number of failed subjects.

Therefore, if your brother has failed two main subjects and English, that's a total of three failed subjects. Most boards only allow compartment exams for one or two failed subjects.

So, unfortunately, he likely won't be eligible for a compartment exam in this scenario.

However, it's absolutely vital to confirm this with your brother's school or the relevant education board. Rules can vary, and there might be specific provisions or exceptions. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information.

In the meantime, focus on supporting your brother. Encourage him to understand where he struggled and start preparing for any potential re-examination or alternative options.
