Remember Admission into all these aforementioned Institutions are possible only through entrance exam. Based on the given cut off rank you do not have chances of getting seat in Fashion Designing. Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

To get admission in Women Polytechnic College in Fashion Design, Faridabad. You have to give HSTES exam and you have clear the cutoff to participate in the Counselling, the exams are conducted in the month of may and then the counselling starts in the month of June. Therefore you have to wait till June for the admission process.

You can choose any stream of your choice for your 10 + 2 if you want to become a fashion designer.
This is because,
To be eligible there's no restriction on the stream you are from.
For example,
NIFT is the most popular and reputed entrance examination for B . Des i. e bachelor of design and t o be eligible for nift for B.Des. :-
* You should be either appearing for 10+2 or should have passed it in any stream from a recognised board or Diploma of 3 years /4 years recognized by aicte or state board of technical education.
So, you can pursue your 10+2 in any stream for doing fashion designing
* Maximum age of the aspirant should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. For Sc /st /ph candidates there's a relaxation of 5 years.
But,
In case, if you are interested in B. F tech i. e Bachelor of Fashion Technology then you should pursue 10+2 in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics

To be eligible for b.Tech, a Candidate must have Studied Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and English as their major Subjects. Thr Candidates must have scored 50 percent in the these Subjects. Five percent relaxation has been granted to reserved category candidates like SC ST. So, if you have not studied these Subjects you are not eligible for B.Tech. But you can do one thing, pass class 12th with these Subjects from CBSE or State board.
After that you can appear for entrance exams like JEE MAINS. Apart from JEE MAINS, you can sit for entrance exams of other Universities too like VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) SRM JEE (SRM Joint Entrance Exam). These Engineering Institutions does not offer admission into B.Tech Courses on the basis of JEE MAINS score, that's why they conduct their entrance exams to offer Admission.

Well yes you can opt for fashion and designing as your program for future studies with a background in English literature but some colleges ask for a bachelor in fashion and designing to allow the student to go for master in fashion designing. But there are handful of colleges where this criteria is not followed and hence you can easily apply in such colleges to pursue your dream field.
