Yes there are different scholarship schemes provided by the college after successful admission of the candidates. But one thing you have to remember , the amount disbursed totally depends on the number of applicants for the scholarship. Mostly scholarships are given to SC/ST candidates but yes OBC students can also try for the Scholarships.
Good luck!!

Dear Aspirant,
The fellowship usually takes 3 years, it is a program /project that readies you for war with any sort of disease in the pulmonary area and critical care.
They are 3 options in fellowship for pulmonary and critical care
1. Pulmonary Training Program -It takes 24 months with 12 months of clinical training.
2. Critical Care Training - It takes 1 year or general internal medicine training that has 6 months at least, in critical care but it is a must.
3. Combined Pulmonary and Critical Care - It takes 18 months of clinical training
Dear learner,
Doctor of medicine is super speciality course regarding on particular subject which is done after md that is post graduation (masters ) so people thinks quite long procedure but if you have passion. Its 100% worthit, As dm gets 4 lakhs per month and md gets 2 lakhs per month its not about the value of money but about the value of knowledge that gives quality treatment to patients .
dm duration is 3 years and is done after completion of md which is 3 years so total will be 6 years, after 5 years of mbbs , no worries you can joyfully complete by even working at hospital that is why called dm is equivalent to fellowship training .
the number of degrees as a suffix by your name the value of respect and knowledge will be , huh just saying , this is all up to you, decide what is good enough for you .
All the best .
Hi Aspirant!
The intervential pulmonology (IP) is a one year (12 months)training course. The eligibility criteria for same varies from hospital to hospital. But generally, it includes the candidate must have registered himself/herself with the Medical Council/ SMC. Other than this, candidate must have completed MD/DNB Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases/ Pulmonary Medicine, DM-Pulmonary Medicine/ Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Thankyou!
Hi aspirant,
No, its is not mandatory.
There are many MD and MS post graduates who work after their degree. They do not enroll themselves for any fellowships.
Fellowships are not at all mandatory. Its upon your wish. Some do it to add more value to their knowledge, while some start working without doing any fellowships.
There is no assumption of success for whether you have done fellowship or not. Depends on tour skills. Initially there was no buzz for fellowships. Now a days, there is a hype for fellowships in UK AND US.
Rest all depends on your choice,
Hope that works.
