Is dm req for fellowship after md in tb and chest

medsra159 27th Jun, 2021

Dear learner,

Doctor of medicine is super speciality course regarding on particular subject which is done after md that is post graduation (masters ) so people thinks quite long procedure but if you have passion. Its 100% worthit, As dm gets 4 lakhs per month and md gets 2 lakhs per month its not about the value of money but about the value of knowledge that gives quality treatment to patients .

dm duration is 3 years and is done  after completion of md which  is 3 years so total will be 6 years, after 5 years of mbbs , no worries you can joyfully complete by even working at hospital that is why called dm is equivalent to fellowship training .

the number of degrees as a suffix by your name the value of  respect and knowledge will be , huh just saying , this is all up to you, decide what is good enough for you .

All the best .

Are fellowship programmes mandatory after md or ms?Can we apply for jobs immediately after md/ms without sr ship?

Megha Bele 22nd Jun, 2021

Hi aspirant,

No, its is not mandatory.

There are many MD and MS post graduates who work after their degree. They do not enroll themselves for any fellowships.

Fellowships are not at all mandatory. Its upon your wish. Some do it to add more value to their knowledge, while some start working without doing any fellowships.

There is no assumption of success for whether you have done fellowship or not. Depends on tour skills. Initially there was no buzz for fellowships. Now a days, there is a hype for fellowships in UK AND US.

Rest all depends on your choice,

Hope that works.

can anyone explain about Csir-Net jrf its eligibility criteria subjects fellowship jobs career and after completing Msc in geology am i eligible?

pdwords Student Expert 24th Apr, 2021

Hello,

CSIR NET is conducted mainly for mathematical science, chemical science, physical science, earth science, life science and the eligibility criteria is passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%,  if you want to pursue higher education such as PhD you should appear for CSIR NET, there is Junior Research Fellowship for which is candidate qualify get stipend of Rs 31,000 for first two years, and later if they get promoted to SRF receive Rs 35,000 stipend on a monthly basis, and there is also Assistant Professor so if you qualify CSIR NET it opens up opportunities in terms of teaching in university level, of course simply qualifying CSIR NET doesn't guarantee a job, you need to build your profile in terms of teaching experience, research and other academic contributions, and even PSUs or various other companies recruit CSIR JRF candidates, so you have that option as well, as you have done MSc in Geology you can go for Earth Science in CSIR NET, this exam is conducted two times a year, to know more details consider going through previous year official notification at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/File/GetFile?FileId=32&LangId=P

Himanshu Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021

Hello, i am here to help you as per your query.According to me After qualified NET and cleared the selection process of a institution, then you can register for PhD program. The very first two years you are called junior research fellow (JRF).

A person with the fellowship registered under a research supervisor and activates the fellowship. JRF is upgraded to SRF (senior), directly in projects and via a presentation to a committee in case of exam qualified JRFs. The stipend for JRF is 25,000+ HRA and for SRF 28,000+HRA.

Hope, this information will helpful to you.
