Hello,

CSIR NET is conducted mainly for mathematical science, chemical science, physical science, earth science, life science and the eligibility criteria is passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%,  if you want to pursue higher education such as PhD you should appear for CSIR NET, there is Junior Research Fellowship for which is candidate qualify get stipend of Rs 31,000 for first two years, and later if they get promoted to SRF receive Rs 35,000 stipend on a monthly basis, and there is also Assistant Professor so if you qualify CSIR NET it opens up opportunities in terms of teaching in university level, of course simply qualifying CSIR NET doesn't guarantee a job, you need to build your profile in terms of teaching experience, research and other academic contributions, and even PSUs or various other companies recruit CSIR JRF candidates, so you have that option as well, as you have done MSc in Geology you can go for Earth Science in CSIR NET, this exam is conducted two times a year, to know more details consider going through previous year official notification at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/File/GetFile?FileId=32&LangId=P

if i will do fellowship in embryology after md microbiology, how much can i earn per month?

anirudha vats 28th Mar, 2021

Hi,

Well if you wish to continue that field then that is completely fine but your earning will depend on a lot of other things like where you did the course from, kind of internships that you did, any previous and current academic experience and location where you wish to work. All of these things combine together to finally predict your salary or other things.

I wish this helps.

All the best.

Abhishek Roy 18th Feb, 2021

No, they are not part time or distance learning courses, that youll pursue them together. You need proper dedication and time in both MDS or Fellowship in Cosmetic Dentistry. In Medical/ Dental Studies your aim should be to become a Master in a Domain instead of being Jack Of All Trades and Master of None.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes , you are very much eligible to apply for fellowship. Animal sciences is a field related to environmental science. The NET notification has stated that, if your subject is not mentioned in the list of NET subjects, you can take up related subjects and clear NET . Anyways it is better to discuss with your department in the college where you are pursuing PhD. They will be able to give the correct guidance.

All the best

options in UK after MD Pediatrics from India? after MRCPCH can I do superspecialisation in uk or fellowship like sir / mam?

Heena Agrawal 2nd Mar, 2021
Hi....
I have no idea about that but I think it will help you..
The MRCP (UK) has been nowadays theshortest way to a successful careerin medicine around the world, especially in the countries of Indian sub-continent. MRCP is an internationally recognized medical degree. It is a post-graduate medical diploma in the UK.

It'sInternationally, the MRCP (UK) portfolio of postgraduate medical examinations are regarded as valuable qualifications. This qualification is designed to test the skills, knowledge and behavior of doctors in training. The MRCP (UK) Diploma has been approved by the General Medical Council (GMC) as the knowledge-based assessment for core medical training.

You do not need to worry about what to do after MBBS to build up a successful career in medicine. This is the gateway exam to the Specialty Training. If one aspires international career, certainly MRCP is a better option. Nowadays so many of the famous Medical Institutes are asking for MRCP as a required qualification. Many MRCP holders who dont have a general medicine (MD) has been working as consultant physician in various well reputed hospitals.

We would like to say 'YES'.MRCP (UK) is now given equivalency to the MD degree in India. Many MRCP holders who dont have a general medicine (MD) has been working as consultant physician in private hospitals. Rather, MRCP provides you with some more benefits than the MD if you have a plan to settle even outside of India.

The most significant advantage of MRCP is in its wide recognition in home and abroad. A MRCP holder is given a higher status and pay in gulf countries as well as in other Asian and European countries than MD general medicine, even in Indian hospitals also.

There is better job opportunity also. It's also recognized in Ireland and Singapore if you are planning to do any fellowships. If you are planning to settle in Australia, it gives a boost to your C.V. if you are applying through specialist pathway.

It gives a double benefit of earning better remuneration within the country and at the same time gives an option to pursue a career outside the country. You can apply for CCT (Super specialty) after doing MRCP, from UK. Which is again equivalent to DM in India.

So, it gives you wider recognition. That means after completion of MRCP, you can practice in any part of the world without clearing any licensing examination except for USA and Canada.MRCP Career Guideline...
