Is GNLU a government university?

Yes, GNLU is a government university. It was established by the government of Gujarat under the   Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003 . The University is recognized by the  Bar Council of India (BCI)  and the University Grants Commission (UGC) (2f & 12B) . The University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) , United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) , International Association of Law Schools (IALS) , Asian Law Institute (ASLI) and Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute .

The teaching standards are good at GNLU. The curriculum also gets updated with time and all the recent developments are made part of the study so that practical application can be made and prepare the students to take up work.

What is the cut off for the North East reservation for GNLU?

Hi there, there is a tough competition for the admission at GNLU. Expected cut off rank is 370-400. You should score 93 or above to get in.

According to cut off details of 2021,

In general category, cutoff mark was 92.75 and rank was 375.


In obc , cut off rank was 1693, for sc it was 7277 And for ST it was 14750.

what is the fees structure for overall 3 years of llb?

Hello.

LLB course fees in India ranges from INR 1 lakh to INR 2 lakh per annum on an average. However, there are fluctuations based on the facilities provided by every University. A law course can be completed with an amount of Rs.20,000 per year and at the same time a student may pursue the same from some different University with an expense of over 1-2 lakhs per annum. It totally depends on the interest and  performance of candidates in the entrance exams held and the personal interview rounds .

can i do phd after i complete my pg diploma from gnlu ?

hello aspirant,

YES, you can do Phd after completing PG Diploma course.

After completing your PG diploma,  you have two options for pursuing your PhD  : The PG diploma must be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as comparable to a master's degree programme, and you must score at least 55 percent overall, among other requirements.

If I complete my 10+2 from Gujarat board will I deserve for state domicile qouta for admission in gnlu.

As you mentioned that you completed 10+2 from gujrat board so let me tell you that you can take the benefit of the domicile quota in taking admission in gnlu.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
