No it would be very hard for you to pass the jee main, as major course that comes in jee main is of 11th isc ,topic are same but in deep, I prefer you to go for either graduation like BA Bsc. throughothrough government college or go for engineering in private college and also apply for state college admissions examination like UPSEE if you are in Uttar Pradesh

Wanted to know how the ICSE board is planning to do the evaluation for the 6th subject, as my sister has appeared this year and we are all worried

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Jun, 2020

ICSE board has submitted in the Supreme Court that it would broadly follow the CBSE Board's decision on conducting the remaining exams in the country or giving students the option to not to physically appear for the 10th, 12th Board exams this year. The Supreme Court has clarified that ICSE Board is at the liberty to tweak the CBSE decision and follow its own informed decision. This means results will be declared based on the assessment of the past performance of the students in internals conducted by various ICSE schools. According to the official press release available at: https://cisce.org//UploadedFiles/PDF/Press%20Release_26.6.2020.pdf (https://cisce.org/UploadedFiles/PDF/Press%20Release_26.6.2020.pdf) , The details of the methodology to be adopted by the CISCE will be released within a  week.

mail2ankit04 6th Aug, 2020
Hey Ankit

You have a descent profile though the graduation score is a little concern but overall your academics are up to the mark.
At 96 percentile, you stand a very good chance of getting admission to MDI Gurgaon. Generally, one gets a call from MDI at 95 percentile however for the final convert , 96-97 percentile is observed as the score.

All the best.

University of Mumbai.

Symbiosis International University, Pune.

S. Saha Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2020
Apart from IIITs and NITs and CFTIs, there are many government engineering colleges you can get through Jee Main Like Delhi technological University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Institute of Chemical Technology, IIEST Shibpur, Harcourt Butler Technical University and many more. Being top most engineering colleges of India, the cutoffs are quite higher for these colleges. Scoring at least 97 percentile in Jee Main can fetch you seat in these colleges. http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-engineering-colleges-in-india-accepting-jee-main
Through UPSEE you can get Harcourt Butler Technical University, IET Lucknow, Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped - these are some top notch government engineering colleges. http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-engineering-colleges-in-uttar-pradesh-accepting-upsee If you wish to join Computer Science branch through UPSEE in top government colleges then you must aim to secure a rank within 1500 as CSE and IT Seats are filled first so the cutoffs are pretty high. You can check last year cutoffs here http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-cutoff

My name is Rahul Singh Sir I got 85 % in icse 10 and 83% in cbse 12 how can I prepare for jee main and upsee so that I can get a top government engineering college of btech please give some tips.

S. Saha Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2020
You haven't mentioned in which year you're going to appear for Jee Main whether 2020 or 2021. If you are going to appear for Jee Main 2020, the now only a month is left for Jee Main and now focus more on important chapters that means which carry more weightage. Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made. You can make short notes on the topics that you have find difficult to understand.
Never leave any concepts doubtful or unsolved. Once done with the syllabus and concept clarity, you should move towards solving previous years papers. Give mock tests as much as possible. Time management is one more important thing you should look upon. Remember that practise will increase your efficiency.
Give at least two mock tests every week. Then analyze your weak parts and work on them. If you find it difficult to prepare from books like HC Verma, DC Pandey, then only go for NCERTs. From wherever you study, you must complete NCERT Textbooks as many questions are directly asked from NCERTs.
Some important chapters you must focus on- For Physics, Rotational Motion, Thermodynamics, SHM, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics. In Mathematics, Complex Number, Conic Section, Circle, Calculus, Vector & 3 D, Probability, Trigonometric Equation, Properties of Triangles, Quadratic Equation, Sequence and Series, Permutations and combination. In Chemistry, you can more focus on these chapters for last month preparation- Chemical bonding, Electrochemistry, Coordination compound, Salt analysis, Ionic equilibrium, Thermodynamics & thermochemistry, Aldehydes and ketones, Aromatic hydrocarbons, GOC isomerism, Liquid solutions, Alkyl halides and aryl halides. Beside this, give mock tests regularly.
But if you are going to appear for Jee Main, Next year, then you should wait for the syllabus to know. CBSE has reduced the syllabus from Class 9 to 12 by 30% and NTA has not yet announced any such notification to reduce the syllabus of Jee Main also. But it seems the syllabus of Jee Main and Neet will also be reduced keeping the core concepts unchanged. The topics which carry less weightage may be eliminated from the syllabus of 2020-21 session. The chances are quite high. But until NTA releases any notice, it can't be said properly. Please to hear this from the authority. For now you can prepare from NCERT textbooks.
