iim ranchi vs iit delhi which college to choose for mba?

Vaishnavi Priya Jha 18th Dec, 2021

Hello candidate

DMS IIT Delhi would be the better choice for all specializations when compared to IIM Ranchi or any other new IIM for that matter.

Reasons include-

Better placements, smaller batch size, great location, world renowned IIT DELHI brand, 50+ years of alumni, great rankings by various world renowned agencies, exceptional opportunities for people with work experience etc.

Talking about operations domain, yes you do have decent opportunities. Having said that, you'll find quite balanced placements in DMS, IITD for almost all specializations now.

And yes, you are really at an advantage if you have decent work experience and it really gets rewarded in placements, unlike many other b schools where your work-ex could be a disadvantage.

Hope that helped. All the best.

Hi,

IIM Lucknow is one of the top B-Schools of India and it offers many courses. One of the unique courses is PGP in Agribusiness Management (ABM). It is a two year full time residential course designed to develop not only agribusiness leaders, but also entrepreneurs with a vision to promote agro-based businesses even internationally.

Group discussions and interviews are then conducted at Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Hyderabad at the end of February onward. Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, and performance in the group discussion and interview.

The detailed eligibility criteria is as follows:

How academically intense is the MBA at IIM Ahmedabad?

dhanshree1501 16th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

IIM Ahmedabad is known for its "stress testing" strategy for students. This is the process of exposing a material / model to  extreme conditions and situations to test its resilience, longevity, and ability to withstand harsh environments. In investment banking education, institutions guide students through regulatory tests. The question consists of an absurd combination of macroeconomic and microeconomic parameters. Therefore, students are  prepared for the most difficult situations that prove  beneficial. This strategy is used by  banks and other financial institutions. Returning to IIMA, first graders foresee their own stress testing strategies. Each test is modeled with sufficient preparation in mind to deal with possible difficult situations that you may or may not face while working. In addition, regular surprise tests are conducted for students. The students had a fixed routine that they had to follow. This includes: Investigate 23 cases (page 1518). Prepare a presentation about the case, including your understanding. It also keeps today's and previous day's assignments up to date. In the second semester, students had to continue this routine and work on their resume at the same time. You also need to join a group or club. IIMA holds a five-day cultural festival called "Tnite (Talent Night)". At the same time as attending the festival, it will be busy for students preparing for daily surprise tests. In summary, students have a lot to do in a very short  time.

Thank you.
