IIM preparation is tough and one needs to be focused. For CAT - IIM preparation, students often opt for specialized coaching classes.

For a start, CAT consists of 3 sections for which you have to prepare equally well.

For General category students  the CAT cut-off ranges from  95 to 99.9 percentile. The cut-off for reserved and pwd students is slightly lower but not by a lot is around  91 to 95 percentile.

If you are interested in jobs in technical domain or want to do research in technical domain you should pursue M.Tech from IIT Bombay. • Clear the competitive exam from Common Aptitude Test ( CAT ) /GRE/GMAT as per your course preference.

Hi,

Every college has both sides, the good side and the bad side. Usually the good side covers up for the bad side but sometimes you wonder about the bad side as well. The worst part about being in IIM Ahmedabad is the amount of academically overloaded students that it causes a lot of competition. Being in a college full of such students also calls in for the ego for getting admission in such a prestigious college. Last but not the least, the faculty also isn't that great.
