Im studying in graduation final year Im week in mathematics but Im choose mathematics for my masters so can anyone please tell me about the syllabus or how can I improve my interest in mathematics or which is choosen by me mathematics MA or mathematics MS

Raychel 24th Sep, 2020

Dear Applicant,

I wish you good luck for your upcoming exams,

Since you have chosen mathematics in spite of being weak abit you must be very much interested to study maths. Understand one thing Maths is a subject that requires utmost dedication you cannot by heart it. Understanding the concepts is very much important.

You also need to consistently practice all the proofs by writing it down again and again. It helps adversely.

MA will help you out in the career of teaching to secondary school or community colleges.

While MS requires an advanced knowledge in mathematics. It will be your stepping stone towards Ph.D, if you are ready to dedicate your time solely for maths than you could go for MS which will give you a higher pay and more advanced opportunities

All the best and study well. I wish you good luck

Trisha Bhattacharyya 20th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Abdul, your question of "BPP Course when it will start online" is not very clear.

Bachelor Preparatory Programme is offered by IGNOU for those students who wish to do their bachelors from IGNOU but do not have the essential qualifications of 10+2 paaout.

There are quite a number of BPP courses such as in Commerce, Maths or Social Sciences. Once you register for the programme, a confirmation mail will be sent to you that will include all necessary details. If not, stay tuned to their official site for details since there are 23 BPP colleges in India and it is difficult to figure out which you are talking about.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

The syllabus of UPSC is more humanities oriented, hence if you are wholly and solely focused on this exam, then you can choose various subjects like political science, geography, economics, history, sociology, economics, or even law as a subject is equally good, these all comes under syllabus of UPSC exam as well as are present in the list of optionals, it helps to a large extent in UPSC if your graduation subject is your optional as you must be aware that UPSC has such an extensive syllabus and syllabus of optional paper itself is nothing short of graduation level, hence with your graduation subject you will be already acquainted with the relevant knowledge and you just need to go through it on a regular basis to strengthen it further, and accordingly apply the same into practice in the form of answer writing, some of the initial things you can do even from college days is to download the UPSC syllabus and learn it by heart as you'll get to know what to read and what to skip, secondly develop the habit the newspaper reading on a regular basis, this is highly recommended and it should continue till the day of your interview, such is the relevance and importance it holds, even board members that will interview you want to test your level of awareness pertaining to various aspect happening in the country or outside, and lastly, NCERT are the foundation of UPSC, when it comes to study materials start with these always, and then move towards standard book, also keep resources minimal, read one book many a time instead of many book one time, later on as you'll be progressing you can go through previous year paper in official website of UPSC, practice mock papers and test series, you can refer toppers' answer sheets available online for answer writing purposes, these are the few minute details yet important ones that I shared with you.

Shruti Smaranika 28th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

As per your secured rank 727, you may get into "B" category colleges, since the last year AP ICET cutoff marks, from the ranks ranging 501 to 1000, it's estimated that you would have secured 111-120 marks and according to that, your college will be allotted.  You need to have secured at least 25% of the total marks since you're from general category. You must have fulfilled the required eligibility criteria of AP ICET 2020. Chances are there, you may be eligible to get a seat in the university.

Yes, MCA lateral entry is available in Sri Venkateshwara University. It is of three years course duration. Through CET and merit basis, admissions will be done accordingly.

hello! i got 57%ile in 10th , 58%ile in 12th commerce and 9.2 SGPA in graduation . i am a female sc category student am i eligible for any of iims if yes then which are they ?

ritikaprasad.work 24th Oct, 2020

Hey there!

You are eligible for all the IIMs as long as you clear the examination. The examination called CAT is what you'll have to appear for if you want to get into the IIMs. The admission would be divided into two parts, firstly you'll appear for the examination and if you get a good percentile you'll be called for the interview for the particular IIMs. Along with the interview there will be a group discussion as well. If you clear all of this then you'll get into an IIM.

i have got 79% in 105th CBSE and 56% in 12 CBSE . i have scored 80-85% in graduation ( bcom ) . should i do MBA ? will i get an disadvantage for low marks in 12th ?

Mohit Gupta 14th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can definitely pursue MBA from all the top institutions as maximum of them require minimum 50% marks in class 10, class 12 and graduation and you are fulfilling their criteria.

Yes, there will be some disadvantage as their is marks for every class marks which are required but that can be compensated with your good CAT percentile and your group discussion and personal interview.

It won't affect much and many institutions doesn't give much weightage toh class 12th marks.

You can definitely pursue MBA from top institutions in India.

I hope this information would be helpful for you.

All the best for your bright career ahead
