Instrumentation Engineering
hey!
I would suggest you to go with ICE The course is similar to ECE and also the placements are quite good In the field
According to me you should go for ICE as it deals with both instrumentation and control part and now controlling has greater influence in todays world and there isnt much different apart from VLSI in both the streams
Hello,
After completing your diploma in this stream for btech you can opt for same stream electronics and Instrumentation engineering or instrumentation and control engineering, both are almost same but have some subjects different. So i suggest you to go for electronics and Instrumentation only as it will be easier for you to get along with it.
Hey Rohit
Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering is an advanced branch of engineering which deals with the application of existing or known scientific knowledge in Electronics to the practical applications in measurements and control of any processes and calibration of these instruments. Another,
Instrumentation is defined as the art and science of measurement and control of the process variables within a production or manufacturing area. The process variables used in industries are Level, Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Flow, pH, Force, Speed etc. B.Tech. in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation is a 4- year undergraduate course that can be studied as a separate branch or along with electronics engineering. ... Instrumentation Engineers also decide the type of instruments needed for ensuring better quality and efficiency of the end products. In The End It Is On You , In Which Branch You Have Interes.
I Hope It Helps
Good Luck
Hello Bhusahan,
The INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEERING is a very interesting branch of engineering. People who have interest in INSTRUMENTs, how they are manufactured and what are the uses of those instruments, generally take admission into this. So if you really have interest in INSTRUMENTS then only you join because the placement for ICE is very limited and less because of which you will suffer in last if you don't study with interest.
I hope you will find my answer helpful.
All the best.
Hello..
Both the fields you have mentioned ie instrumentation and control engineering and electrical engineering are very good.
But electrical engineering is very vast and they tend to find job easily if done from a good University.
While the demand for instrumentation and control engineering is less but the scope is high.
You can find job in both the cases
Hope this is helpful
Yes
It's a decent branch
Actually don't see the preparation.
If you are seeing the competition in gate it's less so it's advantageous.
Instrumentation engineering definitely has good scope in future don't worry

Hey,
there are ample of opportunities available after instrumentation engineering. Some of them are-
• Public/Private firms,
• R&D organizations,
• Steel plants,
• Cement manufacturing companies,
• Thermal power plants,
• Chemical companies and similar industries.
Hope this helps you.
Hey buddy,
I would suggest Bharati Vidyapeeth rather than Rajiv gandhi. Not in the terms of placement only because placements varies from year to year in every college. There is never any fixed average placement but in many other cases Bharati vidyapeeth is better for example :
Infrastructure : The building is round. The library is well-equipped with basic engineering reference requirements. The building is painted every year. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The canteen is so as that they renew the contract with new people every year. Labs are updated and satisfy the requirements. The classrooms are sufficient for a batch.
Faculty : All the faculty members are always helping. There are 14 teachers in department. All the teachers have Ph.D.
The food and accomodation and cultural and social life is also very satisfying.
Hope this helps
No, Instrumentation and Control engineering is not a core branch. Their are only three core branches- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Although it is not properly a non core branch because in some or the other way, it has evolved from Electrical and consists of basically robotics and control and software-hardware theory(rough basis). The branch has not been that successful yet in our country, but is on its way. We still need a lot of development required.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other queries.
Hello Narayan.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) has a variety of topics ike analysis of algorithms, programming languages, program design, software, and computer hardware. A computer science engineer do Design / Development / Testing/ Maintenance of software in IT industry. This field has huge scope in present as well as in future.
All the best !
