If you think placement wise , its definately electronics and communication. 

It is better because of the word (communication )( as you also have some courses of coding in it , which most IT companies prefer.)

But in terms of future , it depends on your passion and interest.

Hi Amit,

DY Patil College of Engineering in Pune is a decent college. It has good infrastructure, faculty and crowd. The placements are also pretty good. For the Instrumental branch, there are not many core companies that visit but most of the students get placed in MNCs for IT jobs.

I would suggest you to go with ICE  The course is similar to ECE and also the placements are quite good In the field

According to me you should go for ICE  as it deals with both instrumentation and control part and now controlling has greater influence in todays
