A Drug Inspector is a professional in the field of Pharmacy who is an expert in monitoring and executing efficiency, safety, quality and usefulness of drugs from the production stage to the final i.e, selling stage. The recruitment of Drug Inspectors is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and different SPSCs (State Public Service Commission). So the final step is to prepare and clear the respective entrance exams conducted by the UPSC and various SPSCs when there are vacancies.

To become an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer in India, you need to crack the Union public service commission (UPSC) examination held every year. It is a very competitive exam and almost 3 lakh candidates appear every year. You need to work hard in order to get a high rank. The exam is conducted in three stages: 1) Preliminary Examination 2) Main Examination 3) Final Interview. You have to clear the preliminary exam first.
Eligibility: To be eligible for writing UPSC, the candidate must have a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination conducted every year.
