ISRO
hi,
see isro has recruitment for various types of profile, however in recent years it has recruitment mostly comes for scientist b positions for engineers of civil, mechanical, electrical, ece profiles, however m.sc degree holders may apply for technical assistant positions. now if you are interested for technical profile I suggest you to do msc in remote sensing and gis after completing bsc in geography. gis specialist has wide career scope in mobile computing as well as satellite related working professionals.
Hello,
As far as I am concerned BA geography degree is not enough to join a organisation like ISRO. You should do masters or Phd and at the same time some internships or courses which can help you get inside ISRO or other organisations.
Though there are many other jobs available for BA in geography like -
1.) Climatologist
2.) Urban Planner
3.) Professor
4.) Demographer
5.) Geographer
6.) Travel and tourism
7.) Lab researcher
8.) Mining field
Thank you
indian space research institute i.e ISRO hires every year for different position , in recent years it hires for scientist b positions, qualification prescribed as candidates must have passed bachelor of technology or bachelor of engineering course in relevant discipline with the qualifying marks. also for master degree holders like m.sc in chemistry, m.sc in physics, scientific officer, technical assistant recruitment is done. so if you go for msc in physics you have chances to appear in isro recruitment exam if it matches with your qualification. now there is no surety that every year recruitment would done on all of the category, time to time it depends on the organization authority and there demand of work force. however after completing m.sc in physics you may work as a lecturer, scientific officer post , it would be best if you go for msc courses from iits, since it has excellent placement record.
hope you may understand.

Greetings, aspirant!
Getting into ISRO is not an easy task at all due to the prevalent competition as well as the seriousness of the job profile.
ISRO conducts a written exam every year to recruit students. Students that have a background in Mechanical, Electronics or Civil disciplines etc have a better chance of being recruited. Following the examination, there's also an interview round. The vacancies in ISRO are for posts of Scientists, Technicians, admin officers, purchase officers etc.
A BSc graduate can be recruited as a scientific assistant. If you wish to opt for a higher post, you need to finish your MSc or higher studies.
Overall, getting a job in ISRO is a very prestigious thing and equally difficult so. However, with a high enough qualification, even if you don't get into ISRO, it can land you a well paying job or you can become a researcher in a space research organisation.
Hope this information helps
Best of luck!!
Jobs in ISRO depend on the Vacancies in various departments. One department that can come closer to Nuclear Physics is Physics Research Laboratory. It deals with Planetary exploration programme and it is involved with Planetary studies and explosions. It is a research laboratory and you can read about the current openings at: https://www.isro.gov.in/about-isro/physical-research-laboratory-prl
