††† IMPORTANT NOTE:-
Considering pandemic, there's one time measure for students who had passed 12th in 2021 & 2020.
For 2021 passed :- Those 2021 passed students who had qualified jee main 2021 and had registered for jee advanced 2021 but couldn't appear in the examination are directly eligible for jee advanced 2022 without appearing in jee main 2022.
For 2020 passed :- 2020 12th passed students are also eligible for jee advanced 2022 after qualifying jee main 2022 provided they have appeared in only one of 2020 or 2021 jee advanced or none of them.
Details about it is available at:- https://news.careers360.com/jee-advanced-2022-extra-attempt-iit-entrance-exam-candidates-who-missed-in-2020-2021-jeeadv-ac-in

Hi aspirant,
See this issue can cause you several problems in the future so it is best to find a solution now only. You would need to make corrections in either your certificates or mother documents. Generally I will recommend you to make corrections in your mother documents as it is comparatively easier and less hectic in comparison to making corrections in class 10th and 12th certificates. For correction in your mother documents you would need to just visit the nearest municipal office and do the required paperwork but in case you want to make correction in the certificates you would required to frequently visited an regional education office. Also if there is a sudden need in case of document verification, you can carry an affidavit claiming that this mistake is by virtue of a human error.
Hope it helps!
