My CRL is 71025 and my sc rank is 2879, Im a female candidate from west bengal. Which colleges can I get through JAC Delhi counselling? Branches preferred are CS or IT.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 19th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Admission through JAC counselling is based on the All India Rank in JEE Main. Considering the previous year cut off in round 4 of JAC counselling here is the of institutes in which you have chances to get seat under SC (outside Delhi region) category

  • Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University: CSE
  • IIIT, Delhi: CSSS

With the given rank you do not have chances to get seat in Information Technology in any institute.

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

I want admission in colleges under Jac delhi, there are 85% reservation for delhi candidates I have doubt that to be a delhi region candidate is it necessary to complete 12 years of school from delhi itself or we have to pass only 10th and 12th from a school in NCT of delhi.

Arhana Chakraborty 8th Jul, 2022

As per the eligibility concerned for the JAC admission, any student who have completed there 11th and 12th from a school present in Delhi is eligible for the Home quota reservation in JAC, Delhi. The 12 years of education isn't necessary but you need to pass your 11th and 12th from the state of delhi.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great eve!

In the college predictor results for JAC Delhi, you have shown a cut off rank of 29,325 for ECE in IIIT Delhi. Where is this figure from ? The official website doesnt show this cut off and shows some other rank. Can you please explain ? My CRL rank is 25,670 . Thanks

Sijal Siddiqui 17th Aug, 2022

Hi,

The rank predictor tool uses the expected marks by the students to know the Estimated Rank which they can secure in the entrance exam. Aspirants can use the JEE scores to predict their All India Rank (AIR) in the Rank Predictor tool.

The main aim of the predictor is to assist aspirants to be aware of their probable rank before the announcement of results using expected scores. So that they can use this expected rank to go through previous year cutoffs of different colleges and make a rough sketch of the probability of getting into their preferred colleges in desirable fields. The disclaimer has already been given as this rank is necessarily not going to be exactly same as the official rank by the council.

As per the previous year cutoff trends, with this rank you can have the chance to get NSUT, New Delhi- B.tech Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Biotechnology Etc., DTU- Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Biotechnology Etc. IIIT Delhi -ECE

Hope it's clear!

Regards.

I have doubt, I have completed 12th in 2022 but I have taken Hindi Core instead of computer science as a subject in 12th so can I will be eligible for JAC delhi counseling and admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW)in 2023?

Sach Thadani 16th Aug, 2022

Greetings!

Yes sir/ mam, you will be allowed for JAC Delhi counseling, there is no criteria of 5th subject whatsoever for admission or counseling through JAC.

The only major criteria is that you must have had PCM in 12th and then each college sets it's separate criteria of minimum percentage that you can check on their official website

You can use following tool to get information on which colleges you can get.

Brijnandan675 15th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well!

See if you get an offer from NSIT, then you can just reject or ignore that offer and can just sit in the next round of counselling. You dont need to go for document verification if you are not interested to take a seat offered by the NSIT.

You can also predict your chances of admission in colleges through JOSAA counselling using our JEE College Predictor Tool. Kindly visit the link given below to predict colleges:

b.tech. admission process information and

bhumika tiwari 5th Jul, 2022

Hi there.

The four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program is offered. The program offers degrees in engineering and technology.

The BTech admissions procedure is divided into two categories: merit-based admissions and entrance exam-based admissions. In order to determine a student's eligibility for the BTech degree program, admissions are often supplied by assessing the student's performance. Candidates must take the admission test if they wish to enroll in one of the top Btech institutions. The majority of Indian colleges recognise the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced scores for admission to the national-level BTech programmes.

Students who want to enroll in Btech programmes must have completed their 10(+2 level coursework from a recognized board. Additionally, students should aim for a minimum score of 60%; however, there will be a 5% relaxation for SC/ST applicants. The three core academic disciplines for the 12th grade must be physics, math, and chemistry.
