My caste comes under delhi central list but not in delhi state list ... will it be considered as obc in jac delhi counseling?

Abhijit Tambade 2nd Sep, 2022

Hello Sushma,

It's good that your caste comes under Delhi Central list. Hence, it should not matter if it is listed under state list. Also, generally in any national counseling process, your caste must be listed under central list. Hence, it should not bother you. However, now it is your job to get it listed under state list as soon as possible in case you need for admission to the concerned institute.

Hope, this answers your question...

I have completed 12th in 2022,but I am not prepared for jee main 2022,so I am aiming for jee mains 2023 directly without appearing in jee main 2022 to get admission in jac delhi colleges. I am a delhi candidate, so can I get 85%reservation for admission in jac delhi colleges in 2023?

Sevit Kar 20th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Jee mains can given three times consecutively in three consecutive years. Basically you are given three chances to clear it.

I would suggest you not to miss the chance even if your re not prepared because you would be able to get through paper pattern and difficulty level of the paper.

So, you will definitely get the home state benefit next year also and you will be eligible to take part in the jac counselling.

Sir if I want to slide my provided branch in same university in First round of Jac councelling, but I want to wait for improvement in Second round,Do i still have to go to document verification in that university,What to do if If want to participate in Second round,Can you please explain in detail ?

sksatyam043 29th Aug, 2022

Hello,

If you are participating in JAC counselling, and if you are selected in the first round, then you must have to take admission in that college only. Once you are selected in a round, then you can't participate in the next round. You can only have a option for choosing internal sliding during admission process, to change your branch, and for that you don't need to go for another document verification.

I have done 12th in 2022,but I am not ready for jee main in 2022 so I am aiming for jee mains 2023 for admission in jac delhi colleges I have doubt that in 2023 I will be a dropper so can I eligible for all the benefits of jac delhi colleges for delhi candidates?

prasithagourisankar 19th Jul, 2022

Being a dropper, nothing is going to happen in your career if you are trying for JEE 2023.  Try to get JEE 2023 in the first attempt itself, as competition may increase in the next attempts. But you may loose the chance of writing certain scholarship exams. That doesn't matter.  All the best

I have done 12th in 2022,but I am not ready for jee mains 2022 so I am aiming for jee mains in 2023 directly without appearing in 2022,so can I will be eligible for all the benefits of jac delhi colleges for delhi candidates in 2023?

Sevit Kar 19th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Jac counselling or colleges takes admissions on the basis of jee mains scores only. So, if you are aiming for jee mains 2023 then you can absolutely do it and your eligible for it.

But i would suggest you to kindly give this attempt although you are not prepared. But atleast you would get an idea of the paper pattern , types of questions asked in the examination and the level of it. Just try to attempt as correct as possible. Don't focus on number of attempts as of now but focus more on accuracy.

Can I get DTU with 40000 OBC rank and 133402 CRL rank in JEE Mains and OBC-delhi ? Does going in spot round in JAC will help me ? Which is maximum branch i can get in DTU ( if possible )

Sevit Kar 27th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Honestly in this rank it is very difficult to get a college in Jac counselling . However you can go colleges which has lower cut offs like Guru Gobind Singh University. There are certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper which determines the cut offs.

If you want to know about the colleges in DU , you can take the help of the college predictor link given below -

Can i get IT in (Dtu , Nsut) through JAC if my Jee mains crl rank is 133402 and obc rank is 40000 and I am OBC - Delhi

Sevit Kar 26th Aug, 2022

Hello,

No, there is no chance that even if i consider your category or domicile then also it is difficult to get a seat in DTU through jac counselling.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

If you want to check out the colleges you can check out the link given below -

I have scored 51.61 in jee main (female candidate) paper-1 and outsider of Delhi also .Can I get admission through jac Delhi and in which branch ? Or if through other counselling process plzz mention here.

jhasuyash006 17th Jul, 2022

Hello Annu,

I hope you're doing well. Since you've not mentioned the category so considering it to be general. 51.6 percentile is not enough to get admission through josaa councelling that too outside of Delhi candidate.

But still there is a little chance of your admission through IPU councelling. There are many colleges which comes under IP University. With this rank you can't get the admission in top colleges but yes there's a possibility for you to get admission in low rank colleges. For further information related to which college you can get, the link is given below. You can predict the college with this link,

I have doubt, I have completed 12th in 2022,I want admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW),but I have taken Hindi Core instead of computer science as a subject in 12th so can I will be eligible for admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW) in 2023?

Gyana Srivastava 24th Aug, 2022

Hi,

If you have taken Hindi core as a subject along side PCM then you will have no problem in pursuing engineering further. Subjects along side PCM do not matter. It does help you in college for basics but it does not affect your admission process.

All the best!
