Hello,
It will depend on the faculty of various colleges, how they teach, how experienced they are, etc.

Biomedical Engineering
Biotechnology Engineering
Hope that helps
All the best
Hello aspirant,
So, Biotechnology covers a broader scope in natural sciences, while the principles of biomedical engineering mainly on medicine and engineering principles. Both biotechnology as well as biomedical engineering overlap to some extent, but are different. Both are upcoming, sunrise fields that have bright career future.
Biotechnology engineering is the study, research and development of bio-organism, micro-organism and cell functions in living beings. The course combines engineering with other subjects like chemistry, genetics, bio-chemistry and microbiology.
Students with Biotechnology degrees can work as laboratory technicians in various research centres, hospitals, healthcare centres and universities.
Many pharmaceutical companies hire postgraduates in biotechnology as research scientists
Average package is around 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs p.a
So it's your choice both are best choices.
For bio-medical engineering the syllabus in first year is the same as other branches. However, in the subsequent years you will have to study environmental sciences along with some basics of medicine combined with other aspects of engineering. In order to gain detailed information regarding your syllabus visit the concerned university's website for a detailed syllabus. Hope this helps.
Hey Keerthana !
SRM Institute of Science and Technology will be releasing the cutoff of SRMJEEE 2019. The minimum ranks which the canidates are requested to secure to have higher chances of admission constitute the cutoff of SRMJEEE 2019. While preparing the cutoff, the authorities will be taking many factors related to SRMJEEE such as previous year cutoff trends, level of difficulty, etc into consideration.
Going by last year trends for the SRM Main Campus, the closing rank for Biomedical engineering was 54000 and for Biotechnology Engineering was 48000. Seeing your rank, I'd say you have really good chances.
Good Luck.
Hii...
yes off course biomedical engineer also have to study maths in their course and you have to study maths .... some topics like algebra geometry trigonometry calculus and other.
so generally the candidate who belongs to physics chemistry and Biology take biomedical engineering but for engineering Candidate should know about Maths also.
All the best!!
