Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Sorry to inform but there is no special cut off to female candidates like that which are present for reserved candidates.
(Students planning to pursue or pursuing a graduate degree via the Distance Education scheme/correspondence course at any institution are not eligible to apply for the KVPY Fellowships.) The KVPY Fellowship is provided to Indian nationals to study. For the academic year 2021-22, students who completed the X Standard Board Examination and are qualified to enrol in the XI standard (Science courses) may take the Aptitude exam as a one-time measure due to current COVID-19 conditions. Once chosen as a temporary KVPY fellow, the student must provide a class XI study certificate. For this reason, the fellowships awarded to students in this stream will only be activated for the academic year 2023-24 if they enrol in an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc, B, Stat, B, Math, International M.Sc, or International M.S.) after achieving an aggregate score of 60% (or 50% for SC/ST/PWD) in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the XII standard Board Examination. They will be invited to the National Science (Vijyoshi) Camp and their travel and local hospitality costs will be covered by KVPY during the interim period of one year. This stream is for students who will be taking science courses in the 12th grade in the academic year 2021–22 and who want to enrol in an undergraduate programme in the basic sciences in the following academic year (2022–23). After passing the XII standard Board Examination with at least 60% (or 50% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), students selected under this stream will have their fellowships activated only if they enrol for an undergraduate course in Basic sciences in the academic year 2022-23. In the academic year 2022-23, students enrolled in the Cambridge International Examination Board's second year and hoping to enter the Basic Sciences Bachelor's degree programme After passing the Cambridge International Examination Board Examination in the second year, students selected under this stream will be eligible for a fellowship only if they enrol in an undergraduate course in Basic sciences in the academic year 2022-23 and obtain a minimum of 60% (or 50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in mathematics and science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology). Due to the current COVID-19 scenario, students who have completed the XII Standard Board Examination and are eligible to enrol in the first year of B.Sc./BS/BS/BS/BS/BS in the academic year 2021–22 may take the aptitude exam as a one-time measure. Once chosen as a provisional KVPY fellow, the student must provide a 1st year B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. study certificate. For this reason, the fellowships awarded to students in this stream will only be activated for the academic year 2021-22 if they enrol in an undergraduate programme in the Basic sciences (equivalent to BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS, BS) and achieve at least a 60 percent aggregate mark (50 percent for SC/ST/PWD) in the first year of BS, BS, BS,

Hi Aspirant,
Yes, you can write KVPY exam next year while studying your 11th standard. According to KVPY eligibility criteria , candidate who are studying 11,12, first of UG courses in basic science are eligible for KVPY SA, SB & SX respectively.
IISc Banglore hasn't specified any age limit for KVPY. Since you have enough score to be eligible for KVPY in your 10th standard. You can apply for KVPY when you study 11th class itself.
Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask more queries.

KVPY SA is for those student who have passed class 10th examination and studying in class 11. Thus the syllabus of KVPY SA consist of all the 4 subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology. The most of the syllabus is from the preliminary basis although you should have knowledges of class 11 syllabus. No need to study for class 12 syllabus but just prepare the basics of class 11.

Hello,i am here to help you according to your query.
As according to me It depends on person to person.
Without any doubt if NCERT done well can beat no other material but there are certain simple questions put in a complex manner that students are unable to understand. That is the reason where guides can be useful.
There is no need to go for expensive material. Try online and offline mocks and analyse your performance, your strength and weak areas etc.
Considering the whole, you will not need the other reference/coaching material.
Hope,this information helpful to you.
You can refer to previous year papers first and their answer keys as they will give you an idea about the type of questions that are asked in the exam ,the paper patter , the difficulty of the questions ,and the time that can be required to solve a particular question. You can also see some videos on the net or refer to short notes if you have a doubt about a particular concepts as it will help you in clearing your doubts.
Hello,
According to the eligibility criteria of KVPY SA, students who have enrolled in class 11 with science stream during a particular academic year and have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in math and science subjects in the class 10 Board examination immediately in the preceding academic year are eligible to appear for the test. So, since you are repeating class 11 so you won't be able to sit in KVPY SA.
Hope it helps!
Good luck!
Hi, I regret to inform you that being a class 12th student, you will not be eliigible for the SA stream exam for KVPY at all. Being in Class 12th, it is advisable for you to give it in the SX stream. You application has a very real possibility of being cancelled, so I would recommend changing it as soon as you can. For more details, check:

All the best!
Hello Student,
This is a question that can be answered based on the context. If you are asking if the answer to a particular question can be rounded up from 74.5% to 75% then yes it can be since it is a very nominal round off and it can be accepted. however, if you are asking about the total score in the exam to be rounded up, no it is not possible. This is because there are thousands and lakhs of students attempting the exam and every single percentage counts and hence it cannot be accepted. Hence depends on the context it can either be accepted or not.
