Hello,
Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. This entrance exam offers Post Graduate courses to candidates in the Presidency University. The exam is conducted in offline mode. The syllabus of PUMDET life science includes the common topics at the B.Sc (hons) of Botany / Zoology / Physiology / Microbiology / Biotechnology, this include the topics such as Cell & Molecular Biology, Functioning of the cells and knowledge of systems, Microbiology, Biostatistics, Immunology, Genetics, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Nutrition.
So, you can follow your B.Sc syllabus and practice sample papers and pervious years PUMDET question paper for the preparation of the exam.
You can download PUMDET 2019 question paper of life science from the link below
https://university.careers360.com/download/sample-papers/pumdet-life-sciences-question-paper-2019 Also you can get previous years question papers from the official site of WBJEEB.
Good luck!
Hi Aspirant,
Both fields are good as both of them can give you good teaching opportunities plus if you go for bsc physical science with chemistry then you can go in for chemistry teaching in some good schools along with other physical science subjects. If you opt for bsc life science you can master teaching in general science as well as hysical science such as chemistry, physics etc.
Hope it helps!!
Hi candidate,
It's very sad to hear that you feel that you have failed in life. My dear friend life is so long and gives a several opportunities to get back into the mainstream and lead from the front.
I am sure that there are chances that you might feel depressed or or get shattered by disappointments or failures, but you have to move on as the past cannot be changed but the present can lead to a better future.
Keep faith!! Believe in yourself!!
For Microbiology student, so CSIR NET exam with a Life Sciences subject is the best option for you. There is not any separate syllabus for the microbiology students because the microbiology comes under life science stream, therefore, you have to cover all the syllabus of life science,
The syllabus for life science :
MOLECULES AND THEIR INTERACTION RELAVENT TO BIOLOGY
CELLULAR ORGANIZATION
FUNDAMENTAL PROCESSES
DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY
SYSTEM PHYSIOLOGY - PLANT
SYSTEM PHYSIOLOGY - ANIMAL
INHERITANCE BIOLOGY
DIVERSITY OF LIFE FORMS
EVOLUTION AND BEHAVIOUR ECOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES
APPLIED BIOLOGY
METHODS IN BIOLOGY
Hello aspirant,
