iam bsc life science student, can i opt for msc psychology in svu university if so how many marks should i score to get admission in svu and could you plz let me know the fee structure for msc psychology..?
Hey,
Yes, one can stydy psychology after normal Bsc . Few universities conduct entrance exam where as in few you can apply for direct admission
The basic eligibility for pursuing admission to MSc Psychology program, candidates must hold a BA or B.Sc . Psychology degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. However, students holding any other degree such as Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), BA Sociology, B.Sc .
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage in the group subjects should be 40% of marks .
The annual fee for msc in svu university is about 11,000 to 12,000 /-
I hope this helps you !
I am doing bsc major in zoology / life science from Ignou.... May I eligible for msc allied courses of JIPMER ? In prospectus of Jiboner they say only any recognized university... so I am confused that may prepare for this entrance exam or not?
If it's written recognized university, then definitely you're eligible as IGNOU is a recognized university in itself and not only admission all over India but even for Government job exams, IGNOU degrees are valid. Only, in case a university or any entrance exams makes it mandatory to not allow distance learning candidates for its specific program, then only it creates a hindrance, otherwise IGNOU degrees are valid anywhere.
