math
Hello,
You didn't mention the examination name dear. But I think you got 71 in mathematics your 12th CBSE result. Because this result was out yesterday. You got 71 which is not bad. But if you are not satisfied with number then you can apply for the "optional examination". Which is an option by CBSE board. Like if any student not satisfied with there number in main subjects then they are apply for this "optional examination". This examination held on between 15th August 2021 to 15th September 2021. Because of the pandemic the CBSE 12th board examination cancelled and every students got passed the examination via their 11th class result and test result. Now decision is totally yours, you think once again and talk to with your parents then you can go for any examination. Otherwise if your marks like total marks is good then I'll suggest no need to give this examination. Just focus on your upcoming entrance examination which is depend on your college admission.
All the best.

Hi
Irrespective of your % in 12th , you are eligible for jee main examination 2022 and 2023 as well with passing year of 12th in 2021
This is because,
There's no% barrier for jee main.
For your reference,
Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-
-) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains for BE or Btech you need 10+2/equivalent qualification with Physics, mathematics as compulsory subject along with anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
-) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of passing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020
-) There is no age limit to be eligible
-) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.
But yes,
To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category . For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off but in 2022 it will be there.
With 80.6 % in 12th you will be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs as well in 2022.
Admission in IITs is through jee advanced and with 80.6 % you will be eligible for jee advanced 2022 as well after qualifying jee main 2022. One is eligible for only two consecutive years for jee advanced i. e 12th appearing year and the next year following it for JEE advanced, so JEE advanced 2022 will be your last attempt with 12th passing year in 2021

Hello Aspirant,
See there is no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main but there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board.

Dear Student,
For AFCAT there is officially mentioned that you need to complete your graduation from any recognized board with maths and physics as a compulsory subject. When you will fill the application form they they will ask you to submit the pdf copy of your marksheet for the proof, and there is only one tab where you have to submit that, so even if you complete your maths degree from a open source also then you will not able to submit the proof of that degree. Everything they are asking need to be mention in a single degree.
Best Of Luck!!!

Hi nazia,
Even though AICTE has opened ways for diverse field students to take up engineering they have not imposed it on any state or university. The decision ultimately depends on the state universities. You have to check whether your state university has decided to follow suit or not. Most likely they will allow as it is put forward by AICTE. They are supposed to provide bridge courses for such students to ensure they sail smoothly as you already know maths and physics are needed for computer science. Unless you try you will never know so don't hold yourself back as this idea of AICTE will come into effect from this year.
Wish you all the best and let me know how it went.
