Thankyou!
Yes Neha, many colleges such as UPES etc include mathematics under the course curriculum of Btech Geoinformatics (GIE). But it is only for the first year (1st and 2nd semester). 2nd year onwards, you will be focusing only on he core subjecs. Also, do no need to worry even if you are not good in mathematics as syllabus of 1st year mathematics is not as much difficult, however you must be clear with the fundamentals.
Hope I answered your query, thankyou!
Dear candidate,
Understanding the depth and the difficulty level is equally good because it helps you to understand with a clear vision in which you are lagging. So, do not need to worry. Many candidates are facing this issue but stills motivated themselves to be in the run for sinning the dream seat.
What you need to do is to give some more time for the mathematics for JEE mains because the questions that came in the maths section is difficult. I have personally experienced this. Make a proper timetable with more time for Maths only.
Do these steps and free yourself from the tensions and stress. Also, why taking stress when you can not predict your future happenings. So, eat healthily and study smartly.
Wishing you very good luck :)
Hi Srijit,
Most of the Engineering Colleges mandate Mathematics as a compulsory subject to take admission in B.Tech CSE. As you said you're a PCB student, i.e. if you did not have Mathematics in your 12th, it is most likely that you are not eligible for B.Tech CSE.
If you're looking for B.Tech. in CSE at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College , Aurangabad, they have made mathematics as one of the mandatory subjects, which might hamper your admission.

See if you are seeking to complete your 10+2 from NIOS then you don't have to appear for class 11th examination you can directly appear for class 12th examination from NIOS and if you have already completed 12th with PCB and seeking additional Mathematics certificate from NIOS then also there is no need to appear for class 11th Mathematics examination because you can directly appear for On-demand examination of Mathematics from NIOS for class 12th.
I hope this information helps you.
