i dont have math in my 12th can i do mba in future?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Feb, 2021

Hi

No, maths is not required in 12th/graduation to be eligible for MBA .

This is because,

To be eligible for MBA you just need to have graduation degree in any discipline it doesn't matter whether you have studied maths in 12th/graduation or not.

For example,

Cat eligibility criteria is provided below which is one of the most reputed entrance examination to get admission in MBA college and is also accepted by prestigious IIIMs.

CAT eligibility criteria says that:

To be eligible for CAT ,

  • you need a  Bachelor's/graduation degree

  • you must have got  at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in your graduation . SC/ST/PH students need only at least 45 percentage in Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline to be eligible .

  • Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for CAT examination.

  • There is no age restriction to be  eligible

  • It is not mandatory to have work experience to be eligible

So, you can definitely do MBA it doesn't matter even if you have not studied in your 10 +2 ,you just need a bachelor's degree in any discipline

Hello,

You didn't mentioned above for which examination you have to prepare. But if your examination come in this 2021 year then you have to prepare hard. Like you said you were good quantitative aptitude and reasoning then don't worry you will catch up very low time. So juts staring with quantitative with you can learn reasoning 2 days next 2 days english grammar. It will be good for you. And daily practice those all things. You will do better in your upcoming examination.

All the best.
