Mathematics
Hey Gojo,
Thanks for reaching out and congratulations on scoring exceptional in your ISC board!
To answer your questions, having two marksheet are accepted by many private as well as some government colleges.
However, this two marksheet scenario will not be ideal for centralized coaching like NEET, JEE etc.
If your aiming for maths with one marksheet there are two ways:
• Appear for mathematics through ISC as an additional subject, contact your school and register for maths through ISC This way you'll get updated consolidated marksheet, not two.You can appear for the additional subject exam within two years of passing your 12th exams.
• Reappear entire 12th through ISC or CBSE with maths. This one is time- consuming but gives you a single marksheet.
Caution:The popular opinion of adding maths as On-demand subject through NIOS gives you two marksheet.
Important tip: If your choice of higher education require maths as a mandatory, check the specific criteria of various colleges because many private colleges are lenient out there. However,if you are aiming for central universities, you need to add maths in your mark sheet.
Hello Ashish
According to your qualifications, MSC Mathematics would be the better course for you as you have already done a related course on Mathematics in B.Ed.
But I will still suggest go for that subject which you are interested in. If you are interested in Maths, then go for Maths. If in Physics, then go for Physics.
The choice is all yours.
Thank You!!!
Hello student,
College generally includes tuition fees, Examination fees and hotel fees if you applicable.here government colleges in India offering MCA courses have relatively lower fees as compared to private colleges.fees structure for MCA programme are INR 10,000 to INR 60,000 per year and for private colleges INR 70,000 to 2.5 lakh per year.
Here, for Msc Mathematics fees structure is depend upon which college you choose ,annual fees for this course is INR 5000 to INR 25,000 and private colleges INR30,000 to INR100000.
Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
Basic Mathematics in Karnataka's 2nd PUC Commerce stream emphasizes real-world applications like finance, statistics, and problem-solving over pure theoretical math.
Marking scheme : 80 marks for theory and 20 for internals The syllabus for Basic Mathematics in Karnataka's 2nd PUC Commerce covers five core units: Algebra (matrices, determinants, permutations, combinations, probability, binomial theorem, partial fractions, mathematical logic). Commercial Arithmetic (ratios, proportions, bill discounting, stocks/shares, learning curves, linear programming, sales tax/VAT). Trigonometry (heights/distances, compound/multiple/submultiple angles, transformation formulae). Analytical Geometry (circles, parabolas). Even though you passed Class 12 with PCM, you can still appear for NEET in 2026 if you complete Biology as an additional subject, either through NIOS or as a private candidate from a recognized board. NEET eligibility requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English. Start preparing with NCERT Biology books (Class 11 & 12), followed by standard practice books like Trueman’s Biology and MTG NEET guides. Also, enroll in a NEET-focused coaching program (online/offline) and aim to give mock tests regularly. You have enough time to build a strong foundation and crack NEET 2026.
Yes, there are several colleges in India that offer AI, business, and digital business after pursuing commerce without mathematics in class 12th. Some of the most well-known ones are
These are some of the most well-known colleges for your requirements.
I hope this will help you in your college search.
Yes, the IIT JAM Mathematics syllabus is mostly the same as what is taught in B.Sc. Mathematics. Core topics like Calculus, Algebra, Differential Equations, and Real Analysis overlap. However, JAM tests deeper understanding and problem-solving skills, often at a higher difficulty level than typical B.Sc. exams. Some topics may also be covered more rigorously or appear in more applied forms. So while the syllabus is similar, focused preparation is needed to match JAM’s level.
Hello Abhimanyu,
If you received an RT (Repeat Theory) in Mathematics, but your CBSE mark sheet shows "Pass", then technically, you are eligible to take admission. However, almost all universities including Integral University require you to eventually clear all subjects. In the case you do not clear the RT within the time allowed, or before the document verification deadline for the university, then your admission could be cancelled. I would recommend you contact the admission office directly, and to also appear for the compartment exam if necessary.
