can you please suggest me study schedule

Ayush Mishra 27th Feb, 2020
Snehal, the study schedule or time table for study varies from person to person and exam to exam. As you haven't specified the examination for which you are preparing, therefore I am answering this query in a generic way. Now the study schedule is different for different people, some tend to go full throttle and study for 12-14 hours a day for exams like UPSC,JEE, JAM etc. while others prefer a 7-8 hours studying everyday. Now the time devoted to study depends on your ability, you just can't desire to copy anyone otherwise there is a high chance that you may burn out or lose interest in studies. So as a common fact, try and understand what the exam demands and what your abilities are, a regular 7-8 hours study and increasing it to something like 10-12 hours in the last 2 months before exam or going all out with 13-14 hours a day throughout your exam preparation period. Also, it is not the hours that matter, rather the knowledge which you gain through those hours matter. It may be so that a person X gains more through a 4-5 hour study than another person T who studies for 13-14 hours a day. So, you have to frame the study schedule yourself only and as a matter of advice, you can follow the 45+15 rule which states that after a 45 min continuous study with full concentration, have a 15 min full of entertainment and recreation so that your mind stays in equilibrium and doesn't burn out.

In a nutshell, start your preparation by analysis of the exam, its' syllabus, what it demands from you and what you can manage and incorporate in your daily life schedule. You will get an idea yourself about the study schedule required to crack the exam once you spend probably a month in its' preparation and then you can design the schedule yourself taking into consideration the points I have mentioned.
