Is ----- chemistry everyday life ,polymers and bio molecules enough from NCERT for jee mains and sir which is easy to learn i have done polymers from rest others.:)

Ayush 5th Oct, 2021

Hello candidate,

Chemistry in everyday life, polymers, and biomolecules are most important for the JEE Mains examination and the syllabus for from this chapter does not come very frequently in the JEE advanced examination. So, it's better that you focus on the JEE Mains examination perspective in order for preparing for the chapters people in depth question from the chapter are not expected very often as per previous year trends. So, NCERT class 11th and class 12th text books would be enough for solving most of the questio in previous year paper from these chapters.

Good Luck!!

cuso4^4.5H2o How many molecules are in a molecule

Tanya Gupta 27th Jan, 2022

Hey student,

9 How many hydrogen bonded water molecules are associated in CuSO4. 5H2O ? Solution Only one water molecule, which is outside the coordination sphere, is hydrogen bonded. The other four molecules of water are coordinated with copper cation.

All the best student,

Hope this helps you.

what is The molecules? and how to work

Hi

A Molecule of a substance is defined as the smallest possible unit of a substance having all the physical and chemical properties of the substance. It is usually formed by two or more atoms coming togather to form a smallest identifiable unit

This molecule are formed when atoms come together to form chemical bonds which are generally formed by sharing or donating electrons between the atoms. There are different types of bondings like

Ionic

Covalent

Hydrogen bonds

Van der walls interactions

Hope this helps

tha number of independent modes of vibration in non- linear molecules N atoms

Sourav singh 28th Nov, 2021

hello Zarikul hoque,

hope you are doing well now coming back to your question,

As we know that in general, a non-linear molecule with N atoms has 3N – 6 normal modes of vibration, but a linear molecule has 3N – 5 modes, because rotation about the molecular axis cannot be observed. A diatomic molecule has one normal mode of vibration, since it can only stretch or compress the single bond.

hope this will help you lot,

Thank you.

The number of water molecules is maximum in------

Sourav singh 28th Nov, 2021

hello rohit

As we know that for a molecule, molecular weight in grams is equal to the Avogadro number and for transforming between moles and grams, we could use the molar mass of the substance. Avogadro’s number can be expressed as the number of elementary particles such as molecules, atoms, compounds, etc. per mole of a substance and Avogadro number is often denoted as NA.

18 mole of water will contain 18×6.023×1023 number of molecules.

therefore the number of water molecules is maximum in 18 moles of water.

hope this will help you a  lot.

thank you.

no of molecules in 4.25 gram NH3

Sourav singh 28th Nov, 2021

hello Sr,

Hope you are doing well ,Now to answer your question

As we know that Molar mass of ammonia is 17g

17g ammonia contains 6.022×10^23 number of ammonia molecules due to this 4.25 g ammonia will contain,

(6.022×10^23×4.25)/17 = 1.5×10^23

number of ammonia molecules.

hope this will help you a lot

thank you.

calculate the number of molecules in 0.49 gram h2 so4 ( s= 32)

Sourav singh 28th Nov, 2021

hello s r,

As we know that,

Mass of Sulphuric (H2SO4) = 0.49g

We have the number of molecules in 0.49g of H2SO4

Molecular mass of H2SO4 = (Atomic mass of H) x 2 + (Atomic mass of S) x 1 + (Atomic mass of O) x 4

Molecular mass of H2SO4 = ( 1 x 2) + (32 x 1) + (16 x 4)

= 2 + 32 + 64

= 98.

Now,

According to the formula,

Number of moles in the given H2SO4(n)

= Mass of H2SO4 in grams/Molecular mass of H2SO4

= 0.49/98

= 0.01/2

= 0.005

: n = 0.005 mol

: 1 mol of H2SO4 contains 6.022 x 10^23 molecules.

: 0.005 mol of H2SO4 contains 0.005 x 6.022 x 10^23 molecules.

= 0.003011 x 10^23 molecules .

that is 0.49 g of H2SO4 contains 0.003011 x 10^23 molecules of H2SO4.
hope this will help you lot.

molecular orbital theory of homonuclear diatomic molecules

Sourav singh 28th Nov, 2021

hello candidate,

hope you are doing well, Now coming back to your question as we know that

Homonuclear diatomic molecules contain two atoms of the same element.

Molecular orbitals exhibit the same general properties as atomic orbitals, including a nodal structure.

The Molecular orbital diagram gives the list of molecular orbitals which are filled with the required number of electrons starting from the lowest energy level onward. Hunds maximum multiplicity rule is followed when filling electrons in degenerate levels, so two electrons in two degenerate levels will be unpaired.

hope this will help you a lot,

thank you.
