I have 30 percent low vision disability can I get pwd reservation in neet exam

Divyanshi Priya 10th Mar, 2025

Hello!

The present discussion deals with determining your eligibility for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) reservation in the NEET exam because you possess a 30% low vision disability. The guidelines establish that candidates need at least 40% disability level to receive PwD reservation benefits in NEET exams.

Key Points:

  • Customers who apply for NEET PwD quota must demonstrate at least a 40% disability level in their condition.
  • To obtain PwD reservation eligibility candidates need to visit designated disability centers for PwD certification.

Recommendation:

Your present status of having a 30% low vision disability qualifies you for PwD reservation benefits in NEET only if your disability meets the minimum requirement of 40%. You should seek medical consultation from both professionals along with designated disability certification centers to receive expert examinations and information about available accommodations.

  • Set goals: complete 1 chapter daily with revisions

Choose the right study material:

  • NCERT priority: 90% of biology section is from NCERT

What happens if neet qualifying code kept wrong like using code 3 instead of using code2.if it create problems further how to rectify it .

Prachi Kumari 8th Mar, 2025

Hello,

If you have mistakenly selected NEET qualifying code 3 instead of code 2 , it should not create major issues during the exam. However, during counseling and document verification , discrepancies in the qualification details may lead to complications.

You can rectify it during NEET correction window if NTA allows to change the code, also during counseling, explain the mistake and provide correct documents (12th marksheet, degree certificate if applicable).

Hope it helps !

what is the difference between management kota and institutional kota in Telangana neet pg 2024

Sneha Kaushik 7th Mar, 2025

In the context of Telangana’s NEET PG 2024 admissions, it is essential to understand the distinction between various quota categories to navigate the application process effectively.

  • Management Quota: In this seats are reserved for candidates who may not have secured admission through the regular merit - based process. These seats often come with higher tuition fees and are filled based on different criteria set by the institution. In Telangana, candidates seeking admission under the management quota must have qualified in the NEET PG examination and other specific criteria.
  • Institutional Quota: IT can vary in meaning across different states and institutions. General it refers to seat allocated at the discretion of the institutions, potentially for candidates associated with the institution or its stakeholders. However in the context of Andhra Pradesh (AP) there is not a specific “institutional quota”. Instead AP has a “convenor quota”, which pertains to government seats allocated in private medical colleges.

May this answer help you!
