National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
Hello, whether you can take admission without NEET depends actually on the type of course that you want to pursue. For example, In India, if you want to pursue MBBS, or BDS courses, you have to appear for and qualify the NEET exam, as it is mandatory for all undergraduate medical and dental programs. However, for other health related courses such as BSc, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, or various other diploma programs, NEET is generally not required, as admission to these courses are generally dependent on entrance tests, Class 12 results, or institutional selection processes. Hope this helps out! All the best!

If you are in Class 9 and planning to start early preparation for NEET, the best approach is to build a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Here is a list of the most recommended books for Class 9 NEET preparation:
With an All India rank of around 82,471 and UP state rank around 4,633 , your chances for MS Surgery in government colleges are very low. You may get a seat in private or deemed colleges , mainly in UP. Chances in other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu are lower due to domicile rules and local quota preference.
Choice filling strategy:
Top: Private/deemed colleges in UP for Surgery.
Backup: Other clinical branches (Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology) in private/deemed colleges.
Safe: Non-clinical or less competitive branches in private/deemed colleges.
Tips:
Check fees, bond, and stipend before choosing.
Be flexible with branch and college to secure a seat.
You have a non-zero chance if you focus on private/deemed colleges and plan your choices wisely.
Hope it helps !
Hello, in NEET PG 2025, if you get a government college seat, the monthly stipend is typically around Fifty thousand to Ninety Thousand Rupees with modest tuition fees, and a possible service bond of several lakhs depending on the state. Your rank of 82,471 may limit chances in the second round, and if allotted a seat in a private or deemed college, the fees are actually higher and also, the stipend or bond rules may differ. The exact details actually depend on the college and state quota that you secure. All the best!
With a NEET PG rank of 167,000, getting MD Pathology or MS Surgery in a deemed university in Maharashtra is highly unlikely. The closing ranks for these courses in most deemed universities are much lower, usually under 130,000.
You can consider:
Trying for less-demanded branches like para-clinical or non-clinical courses in deemed or private colleges, where closing ranks are higher.
Taking a drop and reappearing next year to aim for a better rank, which can improve chances for Pathology or Surgery.
Hey,
With your AIR rank of 96800, it can be difficult for you to get admission in a good college in a clinical branch because the competition is quite strong for it, and you would need to score higher, but you can check for low-demand branches. And with the rank of 375 in Rajasthan state counselling, the rank is still quite low. But it also depends on which category you belong to. For the general category, you can go for MD branches like Anaesthesiology.
Hope it helps!!!
HELLO,
To get selected for NEET 2026, you must first meet the eligibility criteria , which requires you to be at least 17 years old and pass class 12th with Physics , Chemistry and Biology.
You need to meet the eligibility criteria :-
Hope this helps!
If you are studying 10+2 with Computer Science and you want to do MBBS, then you must have Biology in Class 12 to become eligible for NEET . Without Biology, you cannot apply for NEET.
Here are the possible ways:
Take Biology as an additional subject. You can register for Biology through your school or as a private candidate from a recognized board. After passing Biology, you become eligible for NEET.
Change your stream to PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). If your school allows stream change, you can shift to PCB and complete 12th with Biology.
Finish your 12th and then study Biology separately. After completing 12th with Computer Science, you can appear for Biology next year through NIOS or your state board. Once you pass Biology, you can apply for NEET.
Do Class 12 again with PCB. This takes more time but is also an option if you want a strong base.
To appear for NEET, Biology is compulsory. So you will need to add or study Biology in one of the above ways.
