The minimum education requirement to be eligible for IIT JAM 2021 is Bachelor's degree in the relevant field. Candidates who have passed in the exam or currently in the final year of the qualifying exam are eligible to apply for IIT JAM. You have not mentioned whether your query is regarding TS ECET or AP ECET. Nevertheless, if you belong to BC/EBC/PWD/Minority with parent's annual income up to one lakh or if you belong to SC/ST with parent's annual income up to two lakhs then you will be eligible to get fee reimbursement even there is one year gap in your education. You should fulfill the above eligibility criteria.
